Abstract (English): The research mainly aims to study the determinants of fish production and consumption in Suez Governorate, and the study reached the following results: The annual increase in the quantity of fish is estimated at 0.593 thousand tons, and this increase is statistically significant at the level of significance 0.01. And a decrease in the surplus fish production by about 1.88 thousand tons annually. The consumption of fish also increases with the increase of the population, the price of red meat, and the annual increase in the quantity consumed is estimated at 0.035 thousand tons, 0.09 thousand tons for each of them, respectively. The annual production of fish farming increases with an increase in the amount of feed used, the amount of fry, and the amount of fuel. The increase in production of Fish farming is with an increase in temporary employment, especially during the harvest period, and the number of irrigation hours, while the production of fish farms decreases with an increase in the percentage of wastage during the production process (breeding). And also, the annual production of the fishing unit increases with the increase in the number of fishing flight during the season. The increase in production is a result of an increase in the Fishing nets used in the fishing process, the number of workers on the fishing boat, the amount of fuel used for the fishing process. The research shows those problems of fish farmers and the owners of fishing boats and their suggestions for solving these problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract (Arabic): يستهدف البحث بصفة رئيسية دراسة محددات انتاج واستهلاك الأسماك بمحافظة السويس, هذا وتوصلت الدراسة الي النتائج التالية: تقدر الزيادة السنوية في كمية الأسماك بنحو 0.593 ألف طن,وهذه الزيادة معنوي احصائيا عند مستوي معنوية 0.01 . وانخفاض فائض انتاج الأسماك بنحو 1.88 ألف طن سنويا. كما يزداد استهلاك الأسماك بزيادة كل من عدد السكان, سعر اللحوم الحمراء وتقدر الزيادة السنوية في الكمية المستهلكة بنحو 0.035 الف طن, 0.09 ألف طن لكل منهم علي الترتيب.كما يزداد الانتاج السنوي لمزارع الأسماك يزداد بزيادة كل من كمية العلف المستخدم, كمية الزريعة, كمية الوقود, العمالة المؤقتة خاصة في فترة الحصاد, وعدد ساعات الري, في حين ينخفض انتاج مزارع الأسماك بزيادة نسبة الفاقد أثناء عملية الانتاج)التربية(. وأيضا يزداد الانتاج السنوي لوحدة الصيد بزيادة كل من عدد سرحات الصيد خلال الموسم, فرق الغزل, عدد العاملين علي مركب الصيد, كمية السولار المستخدمة لعملية الصيد . تبلغ متوسط انتاجية كل من السرحة الواحدة, العامل, فرق الغزل, متوسط انتاجية الوقود, الحصان الميكانيكي علي مركب الصيد نحو 3.5 طن/سرحة, 4.08 طن/عامل, 9.48 طن/فرقة غزل, 1.054 كجم/لتر سولار, في حين تبلغ متوسط انتاجية كل من العامل, الأعلاف, الزريعة, عدد ساعات الري, الوقود في الاستزراع نحو 163.2 كجم/عامل, 608.95 كجم/طن علف, 124.18 كجم/ألف وحدة زريعة, 128.5 كجم/ساعة, 5.75 كجم /لتر سولار. يواجه مزارعي الأسماك مشاكل عديدة منها ما تتعلق بنوعية وكمية مياه الري المستخدمة, المشاكل الخاصة بالزريعة.المشاكل الخاصة بالعلائق والأسمدة. كما يواجه أصحاب مراكب صيد الأسماك بميناء الأتكة بالسويس مجموعة من المشاكل البيئية, التسويقية, المشاكل انتاجية. تتلخص مقترحات المبحوثين في وجود مفرخ سمكي ومصنع لتصنيع علف للتغلب علي مشاكل الاستزراع بمنطقة شندوره, دعم السولار, وتعميم فترة علي علي جميع المراكب. Abstract (English): Fish is one of the main food sources rich in animal protein which high nutritional value, in addition to the fact that fish meat represents about 80% of its live weight. The local production amounted to about 1.9 million tons, while the local consumption of fish was about 2.5 million tons. The rate of fish self-sufficiency is about 81,24 percent for the year 2019. The study aims to estimate the efficiency of using the economic resources available for fish production in the fish farming sector in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, as well as to identify the role that cooperative societies for aquaculture can play in the field of fish farming, in addition to studying the problems facing fish producers from aquaculture in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate and working to find the appropriate solutions for it, as the sources of fish production in Kafr El- Sheikh Governorate is vary from fish farming due to its distinguished geographical location, as it occupies the largest of fish producers in Egypt with about 47% of fish production (Two million tons in 2019),The research recommends the need to raise the level of cooperative management, coordination between the supervisory authorities and the executive authorities on cooperatives, expanding the establishment of cooperative societies for fish farming in line with the volume of production, especially in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and activating the role of the already existing fish farming cooperative societies to advance the services provided to members and also to protect them from the exploitation of merchants. Abstract (Arabic): تعتبر الأسماك من المصادر الغذائية الرئيسية الغنية بالبروتين الحيوانى ذو القيمة الغذائية المرتفعة، فضلً عن أن لحوم الأسماك تمثل حوالى 80 %من وزنها الحى، وقد بلغ الإنتاج المحلى حوالى 1,9 مليون طن فى حين بلغ الإستهلك المحلى من الأسماك حوالى 2,5 مليون طن، بينما بلغت نسبة الإكتفاء الذاتى من الأسماك حوالى 81,24 % وذلك للعام 2019 . ولوحظ غياب دور التعاونيات فى تنمية هذا القطاع والمساهمة فى حل مشكلته، لذا يجب الإهتمام بدراسة الكفاءة الفنية والإقتصادية لمزارع الإستزراع السمكى بمحافظة كفرالشيخ. ويستهدف البحث تقدير كفاءة إستخدام الموارد الإقتصادية المتاحة لإنتاج الأسماك فى قطاع الإستزراع السمكى بمحافظة كفرالشيخ، وكذلك الوقوف على الدور الذى يمكن أن تقوم به الجمعيات التعاونية للثروة المائية فى مجال الإستزراع السمكى بالإضافة إلى دراسة المشكلت التى تواجه منتجى الأسماك من الإستزراع فى محافظة كفرالشيخ والعمل على إيجاد الحلول المناسبة لها، حيث تتنوع مصادر الإنتاج السمكى بمحافظة كفرالشيخ % من الإستزراع السمكى نظرا لما تمتلكة من موقع جغرافى متميز حيث تحتل المركز الأول على مستوى الجمهورية بنسبة تبلغ حوالى 47 من إنتاج الأسماك، كما اتضح زيادة إجمالى إنتاج الأسماك فى مصر عام 2019 م حيث بلغ إنتاج الأسماك من الإستزراع السمكى خلل نفس العام حوالى 1,6 مليون طن تمثل حوالى 80,5 % من حجم الإنتاج، ويوصى البحث بضرورة الإرتقاء بمستوى الإدارة التعاونية، ومستوى الخدمات التى تقدمها الجمعيات التعاونية لأعضائها، والتنسيق بين الجهات المشرفة والجهات التنفيذية على التعاونيات، التوسع في انشاء جمعيات تعاونية للستزارع السمكي بما يتلئم مع حجم الانتاج وخاصة بمحافظة كفرالشيخ، تفعيل دور الجمعيات التعاونية للإستزارع السمكي القائمة بالفعل للنهوض بالخدمات المقدمة للأعضاء والإرتقاء بمستواهم وأيضا لحمايتهم من إستغلل التجار.
