Abstract (English): This study aims at measuring reading levels of Islamic education book of the first intermediate class in Iraq. The researcher follows a descriptive method in his study. The sample includes 105 students of both gender, they are distributed as (54) males and (51) females. These samples are chosen by using a random indetermine method from different public school in academic year ( 2018-2019) which belong to Al-Anbar Education directotate. Concerning the subjects' samples, three texts are chosen from Islamic education book for first intermediate. A specific text is designed to measure the validity. The results show the following: the reading texts in Islamic education book of the fiest intermediate class in Iraq show frustrateing level reading. There are significant statistical differences at the level of difference (0.05 =a) according to the gender for females. According to the results, certain recommendations are presented. Abstract (Arabic): هدف البحث إىل قياس مستوى مقروئية كتاب الرتبية اإلسالمية للصف األول متوسط يف العراق.استخدم الباحث املنهج الوصفي يف البحث, واشتملت عينة البحث عىل)501 )طالبًا وطالبًة, من طلبة الصف األول متوسط منهم )15 )طالبًا, و)15 )طالبًة, تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية العنقودية من أربع مدارس حكومية تابعة ملديرية تربية األنبار للعام الِّدرايس)8052 – 8052,)أما عينة املوضوعات فقد تم اختيار ثالثة نصوص قرائية من كتاب الرتبية اإلسالمية للصف األول . ولإلجابة عن أسئلة البحث, أعد الباحث اختبارًا من نوع اختبار التتمة )كلوز( كأداة لقياس مقروئية النصوص القرائية, وطبق االختبار عىل عينة البحث بعد التحقق من صدقه وثباته. وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث ما يأيت: إ َّن النصوص القرائية يف كتاب الرتبية اإلسالمية املقرر للصف األول متوسط يف العراق تقع يف املستوى اإلحباطي من مستويات املقروئية, وإ َّن النصوص القرائية يف كتاب الرتبية اإلسالمية املقرر للصف األول متوسط يف العراق غري متدرجة حسب درجة مقروئيها, وتوجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى الداللة )α=0001 )يف درجة مقروئية النصوص القرائية يف كتاب الرتبية اإلسالمية تعزى ملتغري اجلنس لصالح اإلناث, ويف ضوء نتائج البحث أوىص الباحث توصيات عديدة .
