    Abstract (English): The study aimed to Assessment the Quality of The Trimester System from Kindergarten Teachers’ Perspectives, and to identify the differences between the responses of study members attributable to the study variables: (Experience-Number of Children). The study used a survey descriptive approach, through a questionnaire that applied to the 81 female teachers in public and private kindergarten teachers in Saudi Arabia's Zulfi governorate. The Results showed that the responses did not agree with the advantages of applying the trimester system, with the overall average of the axis (2.14) and a response rate of (90%). On the other hand, the responses were approved of the challenges of applying the trimester system, with the overall average of the axis (3.20) and a response rate of (50%). The results showed that no statistically significant differences in responses to the application of the trimester system attributable to the study variables. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

    Abstract (Arabic): هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن مستوى جودة نظام الفصول الدراسية الثلاثة من وجهة نظر معلمات رياض الأطفال، وتحديد الفروق بين استجابات أفراد الدراسة تعزى لمتغيري: سنوات الخبرة - عدد الأطفال). واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، من خلال استبانة طبقت على أفراد الدراسة المتمثلين في جميع معلمات رياض الأطفال الحكومية والأهلية في محافظة الزلفي في المملكة العربية السعودية والبالغ عددهن (81) معلمة. أظهرت النتائج أن الاستجابات جاءت غير موافقة على مميزات تطبيق نظام الفصول الدراسية الثلاثة، حيث بلغ المتوسط العام للمحور (2.14) وبنسبة استجابة قدرها (%90). من جانب آخر جاءت الاستجابات موافقة على تحديات تطبيق نظام الفصول الدراسية الثلاثة، حيث بلغ المتوسط العام للمحور (3.20) وبنسبة استجابة قدرها (50%). وأثبتت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في الاستجابات نحو تطبيق نظام الفصول الدراسية تعزى لمتغيرات الدراسة.     مستخلص: The current study aimed to identify the partial contribution regarding the best learning method in predicting the stress of the students enrolled in the preparatory course of the Islamic University of Madinah. The descriptive approach was used (predictive) through the application of the Learning Styles Scale (Biggs al., 2001) and the future anxiety scale (Zainab Shukair, 2005) against a random sample of 184 students from the preparatory year in Islamic University of Madinah.The results concluded that the preferred learning style according to the participants of this study is deep learning, with an mild level of future anxiety, In addition, it is possible to predict the of future anxiety by knowing the preferred learning style of the student. Furthermore, the results show that the method of deep learning is the most capable of predicting the of future anxiety.     مستخلص: This paper sheds light on analyzing the reality of the student guidance and counseling system in the university environment towards a forward-looking vision to activate this system at King Saud University as a model. The descriptive approach was used to define the roles and objectives of guidance and counseling in the university educational system. A set of theoretical frameworks and guidelines were analyzed to activate the guidance and counseling system in order to build a forward-looking vision for King Saud University that takes into account the development of the intellectual, physical, social and psychological structure of student. Numerical data were analyzed using the questionnaire tool for a random sample targeting faculty members and counselors at King Saud University as a case study. The results of the study showed that there is a gap between the objectives of the guidance and counseling programs and the reality of practice at the university. The study recommended the need to develop the student guidance and counseling system at King Saud University so that it is part of an integrated framework for the various units and programs of the university.     مستخلص: The study aimed to present a proposed guide to activate benchmarking to improve academic programs at King Khalid University in the light of some international models, by identifying the level of activation of benchmarking in improving the academic programs at King Khalid University, and the level of availability of the requirements for its activation. The study relied on the descriptive (survey) approach, and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection, as it was applied to the study population, which is (196) members of the program accreditation teams at King Khalid University. The results showed that the level of activation of benchmarking as an improvement tool for academic programs at King Khalid University in light of Some global models were average, with an arithmetic mean of (1.78), the harmonization stage came in the first place, with an average level of activation, with an arithmetic mean of (1.84), and the analysis stage came in the second place, with a medium level of activation, with an arithmetic mean of (1.77), while the planning stage came in the last rank, with an average level of activation, with an arithmetic mean of (1.72), and that the level of availability of the requirements for activating benchmarking as an improvement tool for academic programs came at an average level, with a general arithmetic mean of (2.25). In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended adopting the application of the proposed procedural guide, establishing a benchmarking unit within the organizational structure of the university, promoting an organizational culture that supports competition, and holding training workshops for members of accreditation teams in the field of benchmarking.     Abstract (English): This research aimed to develop the content of Islamic studies courses at the Institute of Arabic language education for non-speakers at Islamic university in Medina city in consideration of intellectual security concepts which required: Creating a list contains the required intellectual security concepts which need to be available at the Institute of Arabic language education for non-speakers at Islamic university in Medina city. Afterward, analyzing the content of the courses to measure the availability of these concepts to establish a suggested proposal to develop the courses in consideration of intellectual security concepts. The researcher adopted the analytic descriptive method. The researcher concluded it to: A list of the required intellectual security concepts which need to be available at the Institute of Arabic language education for non-speakers at Islamic university in Medina city which consists of four concepts contains 47 requirements. The concepts of intellectual security existed poorly as a whole in the Islamic studies courses at the Institute of Arabic language education for non-speakers at Islamic university in Medina city. Approximately, reached 3.5 percent in all courses. A higher percent existed in the history of the rightly guided Caliphs as it reached 1.2, followed by the fourth level of Tauhid course as it reached 0.6. It reached 0.4 percent for the third of both Tauhid and Prophetic biography courses, finally, it reached 0.3 percent in the third level of Hadith, Fiqh, and commentary of Quran courses. The suggested proposed contained some points considering the development of the content of Islamic studies courses at the Institute of Arabic language education for non-speakers at Islamic university in Medina city in all aspects.     Abstract (English): Method: A questionnaire was used to collect data from 1005 students, aged from 18- 25 years. 439 males and 566 females from 5 colleges completed the questionnaire. Results:The findings of the study could be summarized as follows: 1- Students eat a number of food snacks between meals every day 2- Students do not eat vegetable every day. 3- There was no significant difference between male and female students ' dietary habits. 4- Students prefer to eat while watching TV. 5- KFU students do not check for Anemia or diabetes. 6- There was significant difference between male and female students ' health and physical activity behavior. 7- There was significant difference between college of Education students and College of Applied studies and community service female students as well as college of Business Administration female students in health and physical activity behavior. 8- There was significant difference between college science students, College of Applied studies, and community service female students as well as college of Business Administration female students in health and physical activity behavior. 9- There was significant difference between college of Art students, College of Applied studies, and community service female students in health and physical activity behavior. 10- There was significant difference between college of Applied studies, community service female students, and college of Veterinary Medicine male students in health and physical activity behavior. 11- There was significant difference between College of Business Administration female students, and college of Medicine Medicine male students in health and physical activity behavior 12- There was no significant differences between other colleges students in health and physical activity behavior Implications:It is strongly recommended that a general nutritional and dietary awareness program should be implemented for all KFU students.     Abstract (English): This study aimed mainly at investigating the training needs of mathematics teachers in the light of the Integrative Approach between science, mathematics, technology and engineering (STEM). To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher applied the descriptive methodology and a questionnaire was used as the instrument of the study which consisted of (20) items distributed among (3) domains. The size of the samples was (77) teachers who were chosen randomly. The study revealed that List of teaching practices in the light of the Integrative Approach between science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and the training needs of mathematics teachers in the light of the Integrative Approach (STEM) were very high. Also, the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the sample of the study due to the variable of the educational qualification and the years of service and the number of training programs that the teacher attended and the stage (elementary, Intermediate or secondary) that the teacher teaches in. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended that it is necessary for the teachers to know this approach in educational society and provide specialized programs in teaching practices in the light of the Integrative Approach (STEM).     Abstract (English): The aim of this study is to develop a proposed scenario for developing teaching practices for mathematics teachers in the vision of 21st century skills. To achieve this, the researcher designed a questionnaire in the perception of these skills to diagnose the reality of the teaching practices of mathematics teachers in 21st century skills. The study applied to all mathematics supervisors and other supervisors in both cities Mecca and Jeddah. The study found that the teaching practices of the mathematics teachers view of the skills of the twenty-first century were generally medium, and some practices tend to be weak, and the study revealed a set of requirements for activation of these skills in teaching, notably the development of pre-service teacher preparation programs and the design of the environment and the development of professional development programs for teachers in service, and in the concept of the results of the study was developed the proposed scenario. The study also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0,05αα) among the study members in their estimations about all the subjects of the study due to the variables of the years of service and educational administration, while there are statistically significant differences attributed to the variables of qualification and gender, with the exception of the requirements of activating the skills of the twenty-first century in teaching.     Abstract (Arabic): هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى وضع تصور مقترح لتطوير الممارسات التدريسية لمعلمي الرياضيات في ضوء مهارات الق رن الحادي والعشرين، ولتحقيق ذلك صمم الباحث استبانة في ضوء تلك المهارات لتشخيص واقع الممارسات التدريسية لمعلمي الرياضيات في ضوء مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين، وطبقت الدراسة على جميع مشرفي ومشرفات مادة الرياضيات بمدينتي مكة المكرمة وجدة. وتوصلت الدارسة إلى أن الممارسات التدريسية لمعلمي الرياضيات في ضوء مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين كانت بشكل عام بدرجة متوسطة، وتميل بعض الممارسات إلى أن تكون بدرجة ضعيفة، وكشفت الدراسة عن مجموعة من متطلبات تفعيل تلك المهارات في التدريس ومن أبرزها تطوير برامج إعداد المعلمين قبل الخدمة وتصميم بيئة مدرسية محفزة ثم تطوير برامج التنمية المهنية للمعلمين أثناء الخدمة، وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة تم وضع التصور المقترح. بين أفراد الدراسة في)α≥ كما كشفت الدراسة أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى دلالة) 0,05 تقديراتهم إزاء جميع محاور الدراسة تعزى لمتغيري سنوات الخدمة والإدارة التعليمية، بينما توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لمتغيري المؤهل العلمي وكذلك الجنس، وذلك لصالح أفراد الدراسة ذوي مؤهل البكالوريوس، والإناث على الترتيب باستثناء محور متطلبات تفعيل مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين في التدريس، وفي ض وء نتائج هذه الدراسة قدم الباحث عدد من التوصيات والدراسات المقترحة.     Abstract (English): This study aimed mainly at investigating the training needs of mathematics teachers in the light of the Integrative Approach between science, mathematics, technology and engineering (STEM). To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher applied the descriptive methodology and a questionnaire was used as the instrument of the study which consisted of (20) items distributed among (3) domains. The size of the samples was (77) teachers who were chosen randomly. The study revealed that List of teaching practices in the light of the Integrative Approach between science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and the training needs of mathematics teachers in the light of the Integrative Approach (STEM) were very high. Also, the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the sample of the study due to the variable of the educational qualification and the years of service and the number of training programs that the teacher attended and the stage (elementary, Intermediate or secondary) that the teacher teaches in. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended that it is necessary for the teachers to know this approach in educational society and provide specialized programs in teaching practices in the light of the Integrative Approach (STEM).     Abstract (Arabic): هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الاحتياجات التدريبية لمعلمي الرياضيات في ضوء مدخل التكامل بين العلوم وذلك من خلال استطلاع وجهة نظر عينة من معلمي الرياضيات بمحافظة ،STEM والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات الليث بلغ عددهم ) 77 ( معلمًا تم اختيارهم بصورة عشوائية، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم بناء استبانة تكونت في صورتها النهائية من ) 20 ( فقرة توزعت على ) 3( مجالات رئيسة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى قائمة بالممارسات التدريسية في ضوء كما توصلت إلى أن الاحتياج التدريبي لمعلمي ، STEM مدخل التكامل بين العلوم والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات كان بدرجة عالية، وإلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أفرد عينة STEM الرياضيات في ضوء مدخل التكامل الدراسة تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخدمة وعدد البرامج التدريبية التي التحق بها المعلم والمرحلة الدراسية التي يدرس فيها. وأوصت في المجتمعات التعليمية وتقديم برامج متخصصة بالممارسات التدريسية في ضوئه.
