Abstract (English): Objectives: This study aimed to reveal the extent of inclusion of health concepts in science textbooks for the basic stage in Jordan. To answer the questions of the study, the researcher developed a list of suggested health concepts, which included (31) concepts, distributed over seven health domains: personal health, nutritional health, environmental health, use of harmful drugs and substances, safety and accident prevention, human body health, community health, disease control and prevention. Methods: In pursuit of the study objectives, the content analysis method was employed to analyze science textbooks for grades one through eight (first and second semesters). These textbooks are issued by the Ministry of Education and are taught in Jordan for the academic year 2020/2021. Results: The results of the study showed that the total numbers of health concepts included in textbooks were (24) concepts, the frequencies of the health concepts were (201) with (77.4%). Where the human body health domain was the highest frequencies (50.7%), then environmental health (11.4%), personal health, nutritional health was (11%) for both of them, safety and accident prevention were (9.5%), use of harmful drugs and substances was (3.5%); while disease control and prevention was the least frequencies (2.9%), the concepts of community health was not included in textbooks. Conclusions: Based upon these findings, numbers of recommendations were suggested; more attention should be paid to the education of health concepts, to inculcate positive values and strengthen the health trends of the learners, and the need to focus on some concepts that were ignored or with less frequencies. Abstract (Arabic): هداف الدراسة: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مدى تضمين المفاهيم الصحية في كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية في الاردن. وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة قامت الباحثة بوضع قائمة بالمفاهيم الصحية المقترحة والتي تضمنت (31) مفهوماً، موزعة على سبعة مجالات صحية هي: الصحة الشخصية، الصحة الغذائية، الصحة البيئية، استخدام العقاقير والمواد الضارة، السلامة والوقاية من الحوادث، صحة جسم الإنسان، صحة المجتمع، المرض السيطرة والوقاية. منهج الدراسة: لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام أسلوب تحليل المحتوى لتحليل كتب العلوم الصفوف من الأول إلى الثامن (الفصلين الأول والثاني). هذه الكتب المدرسية صادرة عن وزارة التربية والتعليم تدرس في الأردن للعام الدراسي 2020/2021. النتائج: أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن إجمالي عدد المفاهيم الصحية المتضمنة في الكتب المدرسية بلغ (24) أما تكرارات المفاهيم الصحية فكانت (201) بنسبة (77.4%). حيث كان مجال صحة جسم الإنسان وكانت أعلى الترددات (50.7%)، ثم الصحة البيئية (11.4%)، والصحة الشخصية، والصحة الغذائية (11%). وفي كل منهما، بلغت نسبة السلامة والوقاية من الحوادث (9.5%)، واستخدام العقاقير والمواد الضارة (3.5%)؛ بينما المرض أما السيطرة والوقاية فكانت أقل الترددات (2.9%)، ولم يتم تضمين مفاهيم صحة المجتمع فيها الكتب المدرسية. الاستنتاجات: وبناء على هذه النتائج تم اقتراح عدد من التوصيات؛ ينبغي إيلاء المزيد من الاهتمام لتعليم المفاهيم الصحية وغرس القيم الإيجابية وتعزيز الاتجاهات الصحية لدى المتعلمين ضرورة التركيز على بعض المفاهيم التي تم تجاهلها أو ذات ترددات أقل. Abstract (English): The study aimed at revealing how to develop education in Saudi universities through applying the requirements of TQM in university education. In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher, through the descriptive analytical study method, analyzed the literature on administrative thought in TQM, and collecting information, analysis and interpretation to benefit from the study. After conducting an analysis of the literature on the subject of the study, the results indicated that a specific definition of TQM is necessary in university education and that there are many benefits to universities if the requirements of TQM are applied correctly in university education. TQM indicators in university education. The results revealed the most important factors affecting TQM. Finally, the requirements for the application of TQM in Saudi university education were determined. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended working on defining a scientific definition known as TQM in Saudi universities. The university leaders should believe that the application of TQM has a lot of benefits to the university education and is developing it and identifying TQM indicators in Saudi universities. Taking into account all the internal and external factors affecting TQM in universities, the focus of university leaders in Saudi universities on providing the necessary requirements for TQM. Abstract (Arabic): هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن كيفية تطوير التعليم في الجامعات السعودية من خلال تطبيق متطلبات إدارة الجودة الشاملة في التعليم الجامعي، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة قام الباحث ومن خلال منهج الدراسة الوصفي التحليلي بتحليل الأدبيات المتعلقة بالفكر الإداري في إدارة الجودة الشاملة في مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي بشكل عام والسعودي بشكل خاص، وجمع المعلومات وتحليلها وتفسيرها للاستفادة منها في موضوع الدراسة. بعد القيام بتحليل الأدبيات المتعلقة بموضوع الدراسة أشارت النتائج إلى أنه لا بد من الوصول إلى تعريف محدد وإجرائي لإدارة الجودة الشاملة في التعليم الجامعي، وأن هناك العديد من الفوائد التي ستعود على الجامعات فيما لو طبقت متطلبات إدارة الجودة الشاملة بالطريقة الصحيحة في التعليم الجامعي، وتم تحديد مؤشرات إدارة الجودة الشاملة في التعليم الجامعي، وك شفت النتائج عن أهم العوامل المؤثرة في إدارة الجودة الشاملة، وأخيرا تم تحديد متطلبات تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة في التعليم الجامعي السعودي، وفي ضوء النتائج أوص ى الباحث بالعمل على تحديد تعريف علمي يعرف إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعات السعودية، وأن تؤمن القيادات الجامعية بأن تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة يعود بالكثير من الفو ائد على التعليم الجامعي ويقوم بتطويره، وتحديد مؤشرات إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعات السعودية، ويجب على الجامعات السعودية الأخذ بعين الاعتبار جميع العوامل الداخلية والخارجية التي تؤثر على إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعات، وتركيز القيادات الجامعية في الجامعات السعودية على توفير المتطلبات اللازمة لإدارة الجودة الشاملة لديها.
