Abstract (English): The study aimed to identify the effect of teaching using the computer in developing the skills of Arabic calligraphy among the eighth graders of the basic education stage in the capital Sana’a in the second semester of the academic year (2021 – 2022 AD). To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the two approaches (descriptive and experimental), prepared an achievement test and a computer program and presented them to specialized arbitrators to judge their validity. The school (Zayd bin Haritha), which was chosen by the intentional method; Because of its proximity to the researcher’s residence and because it contains an appropriate number of the study sample, and the results of the study showed The presence of a significant statistical difference at the significance level (0.05) between the mean scores of the two groups (experimental and control) in the post application of the Arabic calligraphy skills test due to the experimental group teaching Arabic calligraphy skills using the computer. Abstract (Arabic): هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر التدريس باستخدام الحاسوب في تنمية مهارات الخط العربي لدى تلاميذ الصف الثامن من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في العاصمة صنعاء في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الدراسي (2021 - 2022 م). ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهجين (الوصفي والتجريبي) وأعد اختبار تحصيلي وبرنامج حاسوبي وعرضهما على محكمين متخصصين للحكم على صدقهم. مدرسة (زيد بن حارثة) التي اختيرت بطريقة مقصودة ؛ لقربه من مكان سكن الباحث ولاحتوائه على العدد المناسب لعينة الدراسة ، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فرق إحصائي معنوي عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات المجموعتين ( التجريبية والضابطة) في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار مهارات الخط العربي نتيجة قيام المجموعة التجريبية بتدريس مهارات الخط العربي باستخدام الكمبيوتر.
