Abstract (English): The study aims to know the effect of employing learning based on the use of infographics in teaching history on developing visual thinking skills among eighth grade students. The study followed the semiexperimental approach, and the study sample consisted of two experimental groups that were studied according to the infographic-based learning method. While the control group was studied according to the usual method. The number of students reached (63) distributed as (31) students for the experimental group and (32) students for the control group. To achieve the objectives of the study, a test for visual thinking skills was developed. The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean of the scores of the two experimental groups that were studied using infographic and the signs of the control group that were studied in the usual way on the visual thinking test in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract (Arabic): هدفت الدِّ ا رسة إلى تعرُّف أثر توظيف التعلم القائم على استخدام الإنفوج ا رفيك في تدريس مبحث التاريخ في تنمية مها ا رت التفكير البصري لدى طلبة الصف الثامن الأساسي. اتبعت الد ا رسة المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكونت عينتها من مجموعتين تجريبية درست وفق طريقة التعلم القائم على الإنفوج ا رفيك؛ بينما درست المجموعة الضابطة وفق الطريقة الإعتيادية. وبلغ عدد الطلبة ( 63 ) طال با موزعين بواقع ( 31 ) طالبًا للمجموعة التجريبية و( 32 ) طالبًا للمجموعة الضابطة. ولتحقيق أهداف الد ا رسة تم تطوير اختبار لمها ا رت التفكير البصري. وقد أظهرت نتائج الد ا رسة وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسط علامات المجموعتين التجريبية التي درست باستخدام الإنفوج ا رفيك وعلامات المجموعة الضابطة التي درست بالطريقة الإعتيادية على اختبار التفكير البصري ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء ما أسفرت عنه الدِّ ا رسة من نتائج قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات.
