مستخلص: In this work, we use 1D BiVO4nanocones and nanorods as prototypes to study the influence of 1D symmetry on charge separation. The unexpected spatial charge separation on the asymmetric nanocones as a result of charge carrier diffusion for the asymmetric tip-enhanced light absorption.
