Abstract (English): This study aims to identify the trends of effective reformist social movements in Arab societies. It analyses the nature of this role concerning the value system of Arab societies. It discusses the challenges facing social reform movements to preserve these values. In addition, this study's purpose is to be achieved through the descriptive analysis methodology, whether collecting data or analyzing the content. Moreover, data collection and analysis depended on historical literature, books, and peer-reviewed articles to analyze the reality of reformist social movements in Arab societies. The study case is the Jordanian society. These movements face significant challenges, notably financial issues and encounters with foreign agencies and NGOs. In the end, the study concluded a set of results, most notably the classification of the trends of reform movements in Arab societies into two main categories: Movements with a Western cultural reference and movements with an Arab-Islamic cultural reference. The roles of these movements in preserving the values of Arab societies have been identified, the most prominent of which is demanding the achievement of social justice, concluding alliances to form pressure to enact legislation to protect social values. It creates locally funded civil society institutions to consolidate societal values and morals. It raises general societal awareness concerning its scope of protecting Arab Islamic values and morals. Abstract (Arabic): هتدف الدراسة إىل التعرف على اجتاهات احلركات االجتماعية اإلصالحية الفاعلة يف اجملتمعات العربية، وحتليل طبيعة دور ها يف التعامل مع املنظومة القيمية للمجتمعات، ومناقشة ماهية التحدايت اليت تواجهها للمحافظة على القيم وكيفية مواجهتها . واستخدمت الدراسة منهجية التحليل الوصفي يف مجع البياانت ، من خالل مراجعة وحتليل مضمون الواثئق من ال دبيات العلمية والتارخيية والكتب واملقاالت احمل كمة، ب دف حتليل واقع احلركات االجتماعية اإلصالحية يف اجملتمعات العربية ، وذلك ابال ستناد بشكل رئيسي على واقع هذه احلركات يف اجملتمع الردين ابعتباره عينة الدراسة. وخلُصت الدراسة إىل جمموعة من النتائج أبرزها تصنيف اجتاهات احلركات اإلصالحية يف اجملتمعات العربية إىل صنفني رئيسيني : أوهلما احلركات ذات املرجعية الث قافية الغربية، واثنيهما احلركات ذات املرج عية الثقافية العربية اإلسالمية. وح ددت الدراسة أدوار هذه احلركات يف حفظ قيم اجملتمعات العربية ، ومن أبرزها امل طالبة بتحقيق العدالة االجتماعية كمتطلب حلفظ القيم، و عقد التحالفات لتشكيل مجاعات ضغط لسن التشريعات الكفيلة حبماية القيم االجتماعية، و أتسيس م ؤسسات جمتمع مدين ممولة حمليا لرتسيخ ا لقيم والخالق يف اجملتمع، و رفع الوعي اجملتمعي العام مبدى خطورة عمليات التغريب واالستنبات الثقايف للقيم الغربية يف البيئات العربية على الخالق والقيم االجتماعية.
