    Alternate Title: Christian presence in the metaverse: pastoral perspectives and challenges from the case study of LagoVerso. (English)

    Abstract (English): The digital network since its creation has been a space for reflection and practice of faith, therefore, a theological and pastoral place. The research seeks to identify the challenges and opportunities for pastoral action in the metaverse, through the case study of LagoVerso, the first Brazilian Christian church in this digital ecology. The article analyzes the characteristics of this environment and investigates its potentialities as one of the new agoras where the Gospel can be communicated. The research used to develop the case study, besides the method of participant observation of two services, an in-depth interview with the developer of the project. Just as the experience of the web affects our living and spiritual habits, the experience of faith impacts the development in the digital communication ecosystem. Based on the presence and practices of Lagoinha Baptist Church in this environment, we seek to raise important questions for “digital evangelization”. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

    Abstract (Portuguese): A rede digital desde sua criação tem sido um espaço de reflexão e prática da fé, portanto, um lugar teológico e pastoral. A pesquisa busca identificar os desafios e oportunidades para a ação pastoral no metaverso, através de um estudo de caso do LagoVerso, primeira igreja cristã brasileira nessa ecologia digital. O artigo analisa as características desta ambiência e verifica suas potencialidades como uma das novas ágoras onde o Evangelho pode ser comunicado. A pesquisa utilizou para desenvolver o estudo de caso, além do método de observação participante de dois cultos, uma entrevista em profundidade com o desenvolvedor do projeto. Assim como a experiência da rede afeta nossa vivência e hábitos espirituais, a experiência de fé impacta o desenvolvimento no ecossistema comunicativo digital.     Abstract (English): The emergence of a properly scientific meaning of religious phenomena was from very early on linked to a propensity to oppose religion to modernity. This counterpoint, which takes place against a specific background, formed by Christianity as a reference, will undergo changes throughout the 20th century. However, this trend will be lasting, to the point of remaining influential in the development of religious studies until today. In this article we will briefly review the construction of the concept of religion in the human sciences, with a special focus on anthropology. With the reflections that follow, we intend to develop some notes at the theoretical and methodological level, as necessary conditions for the creation of a concept of religion as a "cultural invention".     Abstract (Portuguese): A emergência de uma acepção propriamente científica dos fenômenos religiosos esteve desde muito cedo ligada a uma propensão em contrapor a religião à modernidade. Este contraponto, que se realiza diante de um plano de fundo específico, formado pelo cristianismo como referência, sofrerá modificações ao longo do século XX. No entanto, esta tendência será duradoura, a ponto de permanecer influente no desenvolvimento dos estudos de religião até a atualidade. Neste artigo faremos uma breve retomada histórica da construção do conceito de religião nas ciências humanas, com especial enfoque na antropologia. Com as reflexões que se seguem, pretendemos desenvolver alguns apontamentos no nível teórico e metodológico, como condições necessárias para a criação de um conceito de religião como "invenção cultural".     Abstract (English): this paper has the aim of investigating Wolfgang Gruen's contribution to the epistemological development of Religious Education in Minas Gerais state. For this, I have initially sought to understand Gruen as a historical subject, to detail his anthropological Religious Teaching proposal and, then, identify his influence on the formulation of the Minas Gerais Reference Curriculum, a regional adaptation of the National Common Curriculum Base (Base Nacional Comum Curricular - BNCC). The necessary information has been listed from the analysis of texts and audio and video recordings. Through the research, it is noticeable that Gruen's influence gave Religious T eaching in Minas Gerais state a unique perspective compared to the original proposal from BNCC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

    Abstract (Portuguese): este artigo tem por objetivo investigar a contribuição de Wolfgang Gruen para o desenvolvimento epistemológico do Ensino Religioso em Minas Gerais. Nesse sentido, procurou-se inicialmente compreender Gruen enquanto sujeito histórico, para então detalhar sua proposta de Ensino Religioso antropológico e, então, identificar sua influência na formulação do Currículo Referência de Minas Gerais, adaptação regional da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). As informações necessárias foram elencadas a partir da análise de textos e gravações de áudio e vídeo.
