Abstract (English): The study aimed to identify the level of including the common skills approved by Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) as a part of a set of standards followed by the general education curricula in mathematics books for the third intermediate grade in Saudi Arabia. This study adopted an analytical survey approach. The population and sample of the current study comprised all the mathematics package books assigned to grade 9 students in the country for the academic year 2019-2020. The package was 18 books, containing students' book, workbook, teacher's manual, evaluation manual, teachers' resources for curricula activities. The researchers used an analysis card in light of common skills matrix approved by ETEC. The level of including the common skills in the books has been analyzed as per two aspects: the degree and the quality of inclusion. The study revealed that the extent of including common skills in these books was low (16.9%). Moreover, the quality of inclusion was also low (M= 1.2). The level and the quality of sixth common skills inclusion were as follows; "critical skills and problems solving" level was moderate (41.9%), and the quality was also moderate (M=1.9), "creative thinking skill" level was low (12.4%) and the quality was moderate (M=1.8), "communication skill" level was low (27.5%), and the quality was also low (M=1.5), "technology use" skill level was low (6.8%), and the quality was also low (M=0.73), "self-learning" level was low (9.7%), and the quality was also low (M=0.74), and finally the level of "community cooperation and participation" was low (3.4%), and the quality was also low (M=0.41). In light of these findings, the study provides several recommendations. Abstract (Arabic): هدفت الدرسة إلى التعرف على مستوى تضمين المهارت المستكة المعتمدة من هيئة تقوبم التعليم والتدريب ضمن بنية معاييرها لمناهج التعليم العام في كتب الرباضيات للصف الثالث المتوسط. واعتمدت على المنهج الوصني "التحليف". وتكون مجتمعها وعينتها من جميع كتب الرباضيات المقررة عني طلبة الصف الثالث المتوسط بالمملكة العربية السعودية للعام الدرس 1441/1440 ه)الطالب، والتماربن، ودليل المعلم، ودليل التقويم، ومصادر المعلم للأنشطة الصفية(للفصلين الدرسين الأول والثاني، وعددها) 18 (كتادا. واستخدمت الدرسة بطاقة تحليل اعدت في ضوء مصفوفة المهارت المشتبكة المعتمدة من هيئة تقوبم التعليم والتدربب، وحللت كتب الرباضيات وفقا لجانبين، هما: مدى التضمين، وجودته بعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. وتوصلت الدرسة إلى أن مدى تضمين المهارت المشتبكة في الكتب ظهر بدرجة منخفضة، نسبتها 16,9;(، وجودة تضمين منخفضة، متوسطها) 1,2 (. كما جاء مدى تضمين كل مهارة وجودتها (كالآني: مدى تضمين مهارة "التفكير الناقد وحل المشكلات" متوسطا نسبته) 41,9;(، وجودة تضمينها متوسطة، متوسطها) 1,9 (. ومدى تضمين مهارة "التفكير الأبداي" منخفض، نسبته 12,4;(، وجودة تضمينها متوسطة، متوسطها) 1,8 (، ومدى تضمين مهارة "التواصل" منخفض، (نسبته) 27,5;(، وجودة تضمينه منخفضة، متوسطها) 1,5 (. ومدى تضمين مهارة "استخدام التقنية" منخفض، نسبته) 6,8;(، وجودة تضمينها منخفضة، متوسطها) 0,7 (. كما كان مدى تضمين مهارة "التعلم الذاني" منخفض، نسبته) 9,7;(، وجودة تضمينها منخفضة، متوسطها ،); 0,8 (. بينما كان مدى تضمين مهارة "التعاون والمشاركة المجتمعية" منخفض نسبته) 34 (وجودة تضمينها منخفضة، متوسطها) 0,4 (. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، قدمت الدرسة عددا من التوصيات، أبرزها: استفادة مطوري المناهج من نتائج الدرسة الحالية، والعمل عني تضمين المهارت المشتكة في كتب الرباضيات. مستخلص: The results showed that the treatments of Bio-fertilizer fertilization and Nitrogen fertilizer had a significant effect on the characters studied, the treatments ( 2, 3 letters/ha) produced higher values of plant height during 2008, and 2009 seasons, and leaves stem ratio, number of tillers /m², leave the area and stem diameter during 2009 season. The (1 letter/ha) treatment gave a higher value in the number of tillers /m² during the 2008 season, while the increase of Bio-fertilizer fertilization until (2 letters/ha) offered an increase in leaves no /plant, stem diameter, leaves area during 2008 and 2009 seasons, and increase in leave stem ratio and tillers number per meter square during 2008 season. There was a significant effect return to Nitrogen fertilizer treatments. The results showed that the (150kg N/ha) exceeded plant height during the seasons of 2008 and 2009 and gave the higher value in leave stem ratio, stem diameter, and tillers number per meter square during season 2009. The treatment (100 kg N/ha) gave the highest mean in leaves number per plant during the 2008 and 2009 seasons, and exceeded in stem diameter, leave stem ratio and tillers number per meter square and leave the area during the 2008 season. In addition, the results showed the interaction between Biofertilizer fertilization and Nitrogen fertilizer on all characters during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

مستخلص: The director of formerly Facebook announced in October 2021 a plan to develop Metaverse technology that combines virtual reality on the Internet, allowing any user to communicate virtually with people and things far away as if they were standing next to him/her.The opinions of media specialists about this issue were divided between supporters and opponents even though this technology needs ten years at least to be mass distributed, according to experts from the company and its founder. Arab media is not far from being impacted by this technology, considering the rapid digital transformation. Therefore, this prospective study determines the expected effects of this technology on the Arab media, through an opinion survey of 400 experts and media specialists in the Arab world. According to the findings, most experts anticipate positive effects of new technology on Arab media and content, media professionals, and media administrations, as well as negative effects on society and users. Abstract (English): The aim of this research is to determine appropriate grammatical topics for advanced level learners of Arabic as a second language and measure their mastery of them. In this vein, the descriptive method is applied, as it seems to be the most appropriate one to meet the aims of the study. First, the researcher prepared a questionnaire to determine the appropriate grammatical topics for those learners based on several sources. The questionnaire resulted in 16 topics. Accordingly, the researcher constructed a test to measure the extent to which students were familiar with these topics. The test was applied to a sample of fourth-level students at the Arabic Language Institute for Speakers of Other Languages at King Abdul Aziz University. The total number of students was 94, and the results show that their familiarity was high in 10 topics, average in 3 topics, and low in the other 3 topics. The research recommended that these 16 topics should be included in the grammatical curricula for advanced level Arabic learners. Moreover, there should be mechanisms to prevent overlap and recurrence of these topics in the curricula. The research also suggested applying similar studies to beginner and intermediate learners to prepare lists of topics that reflect their levels in all linguistic aspects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract (Arabic): هدف البحث إلى تحديد الموضوعات النحوية المناسبة لطلاب المستوى المتقدم من متعلمي اللغة العربية الناطقين بغيرها، ثم قياس مدى تمكنهم منها، ولتحقيق هذا؛ استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي لمناسبته لموضوع الدراسة، فقام بإعداد استبانة لتحديد الموضوعات النحوية المناسبة لطلاب المستوى المتقدم من متعلمي اللغة العربية الناطقين بغيرها وذلك بالاستفادة من عدة مصادر، وقد توصل البحث إلى قائمة بالموضوعات النحوية المناسب تضمينها بمناهج النحو المقررة على طلاب المستوى المتقدم في برامج تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها، وقد تكونت هذه القائمة من ستة عشر موضوعا، كما قام الباحث ببناء اختبار لقياس مدى تمكن طلاب المستوى المتقدم بمعهد اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز من هذه الموضوعات، وقد بلغ عدد عينة الاختبار أربعة وتسعين طالبا، وأشارت النتائج إلى أن نسبة تمكن عينة البحث من الاختبار كانت عالية في عشرة موضوعات، ومتوسطة في ثلاثة صَ البحث إلى عدة ُ ل َ موضوعات منها، ومنخفضة في ثلاثة أخرى. وبناء على هذه النتائج خ نتائج ومقترحات، فقد أوص ى بضرورة تضمين هذه الموضوعات الستة عشر في مناهج النحو المقررة على طلاب المستوى المتقدم من متعلمي اللغة العربية الناطقين بغيرها، بالإضافة إلى وضع آليات تحول دون تداخلها وتكرارها. كما اقترح البحث تطبيق دراسات مماثلة على طلاب المستوى المبتدئ والمتوسط لإعداد قوائم بالموضوعات التي تناسب مستواهم في جميع المهارات اللغوية. Abstract (English): This study aims to practically identify the reality of empowering Saudi women in leadership positions in higher education institutions, reveal the challenges that prevent their empowerment, and suggest some methods to overcome these challenges. To achieve the study’s objectives, the researcher used the descriptive survey method based on a questionnaire as a tool for the analysis. The researcher used a classified random sample of 376 faculty members in the following Saudi government universities: King Saud in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz in Jeddah, and Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal in the Eastern. The study reached several conclusions. The analysis indicates that there is empowerment of Saudi women in leadership positions in higher education institutions and that there is agreement among the study sample members on the challenges that prevent the empowerment of Saudi women in leadership positions in higher education institutions. Cultural challenges come first, followed by personal challenges, and finally, organizational challenges. Abstract (English): This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using educational robots in extra-curricular projects to enhance creative thinking skills among students. To achieve this aim, a semi-experimental approach was followed, which involved training students to design and program an educational robot and use different cognitive skills derived from all their academic courses to solve a problem. The research sample consisted of (16) students in the fifth grade of Smart Learning Primary School. They were randomly divided into two equal groups: a control group and an experimental group. The Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, form (B), was used as a tool for this research to determine any improvement in the students' creative thinking skills. The results showed statistically significant differences between the experimental and the control groups when their creative thinking skills – fluency, flexibility, and originality – were tested after they had used educational robots in extra-curricular projects, even taking into account several factors that could have increased their skills in these areas. This research recommends expanding the use of educational robotics activities to develop higher-order thinking skills among students. Abstract (Arabic): المشاريع اللاصفية على تنمية يَهدُف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن أثر استخدام الروبوت التعليم ي بِّاع المنهج شِّبْهِّ التجريبي، من خلال مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى الطلبة. ولتحقيق أهدافه؛ تمَّ ات تدريب الطالبات على إحدى المشكلات المرتبطة تصميم الروبوت التعليمي، وبَرْمَجته، وتوظيفه في ح ل سْتقاة من كافة المقرَّرات الدراسية. تكوَّنت ُ بواقع الطالبات، ومن خلال توظيف المهارات المعرفية الم نِّة البحث من ) ع ي 16 م الذكي الأهلية ُّ في الصف الخامس الابتدائي من مدرسة التعل ً ( طالبة ، تم تقسيمهن عشوائيًّا إلى مجموعتين متساويتين: إحداهما ضابطة، والأخرى تجريبية. ولتحديد مستوى التطوُّر في مهارات التفكير الإبداعي؛ تمَّ استخدام مقياس تورانس للتفكير الإبداعي بصورته الشكلية لهذا البحث، حيث تمَّ تطبيقه على المجموعتين: الضابطة والتج ر ً )ب( أداة يبية، قبلَ وبَعد تطبيق يْ درجات طالبات المجموعة َ طِّ التجربة. وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متو س التجريبية، والمجموعة الضابطة، في القياس البَعدي لمهارات التفكير الإبداعي )الطلاقة والمرونة عزى لاستخدام الروبوت التعليمي في المشاري ُ والأصالة(، ت ع اللاصفية، مع الأخذ بالاعتبار عددًا من زيد من فاعلية هذه الأنشطة. وقد أوص ى البحث بالتوسُّع في استخدام أنشطة َ العوامل التي قد ت الروبوتات التعليمية في سبيل تنمية المهارات العليا لدى الطلبة. كذلك يوص ي البحث بضرورة تدريب قِّْ مين وتقديم الدعم الفني وال ت ِّ المعل ني اللازم لتوظيف تِّقْنيَة الروبوتات في العملية التعليمية. Abstract (English): Understanding the rule governing the student's learning process is important in choosing education strategies, but unfortunately the true understanding of the output of this rule has not yet been developed in many cases, especially when applying old methods, which ignore the individual differences between students and the appropriate learning pattern of each educational group. The need for a teacher to know and understand the learning patterns of students in heterogeneous classes has therefore become important and urgent within the educational system, in order to reach the best levels of attainment. The variation in the learning and understanding methods of individuals is rooted in the identification of learning patterns as important in strengthening the educational base within educational institutions.
