Abstract (English): The research addresses the provisions for adjustments in construction contracts in the Saudi law in light of the Islamic jurisprudence, and it aims at studying the provisions for adjustments in construction contracts in the Saudi law, its provisions, and effects, and the study of adjustments in the sample of the Saudi general construction contract, its provisions, effects and the most significant role of laws and unified Saudi contracts in dealing with adjustments in construction contracts. The researcher followed the inductive methodology, by vetting the scientific material from its source, and followed the analytical methodology in terms of analyzing the adjustments in construction contracts using the relevant laws and the unified Saudi contracts, and also followed the deductive methodology in terms of deducing the provisions and the effects of adjustments. And the most pertinent findings reached include: That it is allowed in administrative contracts to vest the powers of unilateral adjustment of some conditions to the relevant office based on certain conditions, and that these adjustments have effects in terms of addition to the period of the contract, and compensation, and stopping of works, in case the adjustments are necessary. The researcher recommends that scholars study the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in drafting the laws and unified contracts related to construction contracts, with elucidating Saudi Arabia being firm in upholding its Sharī’ah ideals, while keeping pace with contemporary developments, and the study of adjustments in construction contracts in Arab laws, and also the study of specific and detailed conditions related to construction contracts from the jurisprudential, legal and judicial perspectives. Abstract (Arabic): يتناول البحث أحكام التعديالت يف عقود املقاوالت اإلنشائية يف النظام السعودي يف ضوء الفقه اإلسالمي. ويهدف إلى دراسة التعديالت يف عقود املقاوالت اإلنشائية يف النظام السعودي، وأحكامها، وآثارها. وكذا دراسة التعديالت يف نموذج عقد اإلنشاءات العامة السعودي، وأحكامه، وآثاره. وإبراز دور األنظمة والعقود املوحدة السعودية يف معالجة التعديالت يف عقود املقاوالت اإلنشائية. واتبع البحث املنهج االستقرائي؛ من ناحية استقراء املادة العلمية من مظانها. والتحليلي من ناحية تحليل التعديالت يف املقاوالت اإلنشائية يف األنظمة والعقود املوحدة السعودية. واالستنباطي، وذلك باستنباط األحكام، واآلثار املترتبة ىلع التعديالت. وأهم النتائج التي خلص إليها؛ أنه يجوز منح السلطة يف العقود اإلدارية الحق لإلدارة يف تعديل بعض الشروط بإرادتها املنفردة بحسب القيود املعتبرة، وأن لهذه التعديالت أثرها، من ناحية زيادة مدة العقد، والعوض، وإيقاف األعمال فيما إذا كانت التعديالت ضرورية. ويوصي البحث الباحثين بدراسة دور اململكة العربية السعودية يف صياغة األنظمة والعقود املوحدة املتعلقة باملقاوالت اإلنشائية، مع إبراز تمسك السعودية بثوابتها الشرعية، ومواكبتها للمستجدات املعاصرة. ودراسة التعديالت يف املقاوالت اإلنشائية يف القوانيين العربية، وكذا دراسة الشروط الخاصة والتفصيلية املتعلقة بعقود املقاوالت اإلنشائية من الناحية الفقهية والقانونية والقضائية.
