    مستخلص: The majority of systems dealing with natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) can assist in making automated and automaticallysupported decisions. However, these systems may face challenges and difficulties or find it confusing to identify the required information (characterization) for eliciting a decision by extracting or summarizing relevant information from large text documents or colossal content. When obtaining these documents online, for instance from social networking or social media, these sites undergo a remarkable increase in the textual content. The main objective of the present study is to conduct a survey and show the latest developments about the implementation of text-mining techniques in humanities when summarizing and eliciting automated decisions. This process relies on technological advancement and considers (1) the automateddecision support-techniques commonly used in humanities, (2) the performance evolution and the use of the stylometric approach in text-mining, and (3) the comparisons of the results of chunking text by using different attributes in Burrows' Delta method. This study also provides an overview of the efficiency of applying some selected data-mining (DM) methods with various text-mining techniques to support the critics' decision in artistry ‒ one field of humanities. The automatic choice of criticism in this field was supported by a hybrid approach to these procedures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

    مستخلص: Philology haunts the humanities, through both its defendants and its detractors. This article examines the construction of philology as the premier science of the long nineteenth century in Europe. It aims to bring the history of philology up to date by taking it seriously as a science and giving it the kind of treatment that has dominated the history of science for the last generation: to reveal how practices, instruments, and cooperation create visions of timeless knowledge. This historical inquiry therefore asks how one modality of textual interpretation could morph into an integrated system of knowledge production, which ostensibly explained the whole human world. Ultimately, it advances a central argument: philology operated as a relational network, one that concealed diversity and disunity, projected unity and stability, and seemed to rise above the material conditions of its own making. The article scrutinizes the composition of philology as a heterogeneous ensemble, the functioning of philology comparable to other sciences, whether human or natural, and the historical contingency in the articulation of philology.     الوصف: The Bodmer miscellaneous codex contains not only P72 (Jude, 1-2 Peter), but eight other biblical and Christian writings as well. Three independent sections (I-II-III) of the codex have been identified and a different sequence than the traditional is suggested as original. There are strong connections between sections I and III and they probably followed in sequence. The most significant connection is P72 copied by one single scribe, who displays both a liturgical and theological tendency. This scribe may have been the final collector of the codex, a miscellany of an apologetic character, bearing the marks of incipient orthodoxy.

Sont présentées à la fin les variantes et les variations par rapport à la tradition imprimée incunable. We analyse the factors which Ramón de Llavia, compiler and publisher, took into an account in order to select the texts of the anthology: addressee, subject, and relation to the poems of other incunabula cancioneros. We also present variants and variations of texts regarding the incunabulum printed tradition.     الوصف: This article examines the textual criticism of the most influential Byzantine liturgical commentary, Historia Mystagogica Ecclesiastica (HME). In the current scholarship it is usually taken for granted that this commentary belongs to St. Germanus I of Constantinople. This view was substantiated in detail by R. Bornert in his book, Les commentaires byzantines... (Paris, 1966). My own study of all the oldest extant manuscripts of the HME has led me to the conclusion that Borner’s arguments are insuffi cient, and his typology of redactions of the HME is erroneous and therefore deserves to be revised. I have collated all the 10–12th-century manuscripts of the HME — as well as the early Latin and Slavonic translations of it, — and identifi ed the oldest redactions of the commentary. One of these should be considered to be the primary one, and I put forward the arguments in favor of the very redaction which is witnessed by the oldest manuscripts of the HME and which seems to have been the most widespread in the Middle Byzantine period. All the manuscripts of this primary redaction of the HME attribute its authorship to St. Basil the Great, but the commentary, undoubtedly, does not belong to him. It is a composition by a nameless author of the late 7th or of the first half of the 8th century, who comments on the Liturgy of St. Basil. Such a dating is supported by the presence of some specifi c liturgical and theological features in the HME (these will be studied further in the upcoming articles). Finally, I present my own critical edition of the primary redaction of the HME, accompanied by a new Russian translation.

    الوصف: Este artículo de investigación presenta el análisis de la recensio en la novela El maestro de escuela (1941) del escritor colombiano Fernando González. Este estudio se realiza desde el enfoque teórico-metodológico de la crítica textual, específicamente desde su primera etapa, con el objetivo de restituir la novela en edición crítica de acuerdo con la última voluntad del escritor. En este sentido, se abordarán todos los componentes de la primera etapa de la crítica textual, tales como la historia de transmisión de testimonios, la relación y caracterización de estos, así como el establecimiento del texto base de la colación de los testimonios de la tradición textual de la novela de Fernando González, con su respectiva reflexión e interpretación filológica. Este análisis permitirá determinar la evolución y las transformaciones que han experimentado los distintos testimonios de El maestro de escuela, en su historia de transmisión textual.
