الوصف: Monografia porusza wybrane społeczne, gospodarcze i środowiskowe aspekty koncepcji zrównoważonego rozwoju w branży TSL. Wpisuje się w rozważania na temat takiego wychodzenia naprzeciw potrzebom współczesnych pokoleń, aby nie ograniczać możliwości ich zaspokojenia przez przyszłe generacje. Publikacja złożona jest z dziewięciu rozdziałów oraz suplementu. Zawiera rozwiązania ukierunkowane na zrównoważony rozwój, inicjowane oraz wdrażane w życie przez instytucje publiczne, a także przez przedsiębiorstwa związane z branżą TSL. Zamieszczono w niej również przekrojowe analizy dotyczące całej branży TSL. Zaprezentowane wyniki badań pozwalają na sformułowanie wniosku, iż ze względu na strategiczne znaczenie branży TSL w gospodarce istnieje pilna potrzeba zaangażowania decydentów z tego sektora w inicjatywy ukierunkowane na zrównoważony rozwój. Transformacja podmiotów z branży TSL w kierunku zrównoważonego rozwoju jest jednak niemożliwa bez odpowiedniego, wielowymiarowego zaangażowani a w ten proces ich pracowników. Oprócz wdrażania wewnątrzorganizacyjnych regulacji prośrodowiskowych czy rozwiązań o charakterze technicznym oraz technologicznym istotne staje się zwrócenie uwagi na odpowiednie zarządzanie kapitałem ludzkim w poszczególnych organizacjach z branży TSL.

الوصف: PURPOSE: The purpose of the paper is to investigate the influence of different skills (managerial, digital, relational, behavioural) on the perception of barriers and drivers of implementing Digital Intelligent and Sustainable Logistics (DISL) in companies.
DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: To determine the impact of the level of skills on the perception of barriers and drivers of implementation of DISL, a survey was carried out among randomly selected logistics and production companies operating in Poland. Further, to test the research model and proposed hypothesis, this study applies Partial Least Squares Path Modelling (PLS), a variance-based structural equation modelling technique (SEM).
FINDINGS: The results of the conducted research allow us to conclude that there is a statistically significant relationship between the identified level of skills in a company and the perception of the significance level of barriers and drivers of DISL implementation (higher level of behavioural skills causes a stronger perception of barriers and drivers).
PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The findings can be used in decision making process on developing different skills in order to improve the perception of barriers and drivers and further support the implementation of DISL related solution in companies.
ORIGINALITY/VALUE: The paper contributes to the newest trends in literature on supply chain management (covering digitalization and smart and sustainable logistics) and specifically highlights the relation of skills with barriers and drivers on the implementation of DISL.

الوصف: PURPOSE: The purpose of this article is to identify and analyse the significance of the existing drivers and barriers in the implementation of solutions in the field of Digital, Intelligent and Sustainable Logistics (DISL) to SMEs and Large Companies.
DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: As part of this article, the survey conducted among Polish entrepreneurs was used. The results of the survey were analysed as part of the statistical analysis. The ANOVA analysis of variance was used for the gradation in terms of the significance level of both drivers and barriers, while the non-parametric Mann-Witney test was used to verify the differences in the perception of the drivers and barriers of DISL implementation for the variable: the size of the company.
FINDINGS: The performed statistical analysis allowed to verify the hypotheses relating to the identification of statistically significant differences in the perception of drivers and barriers to DISL implementation. As a result, it was possible to indicate differences for both variables in terms of their level of importance, which turned out to be true.
PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The area related to the analysis of the results of the conducted research in terms of identification and examination of the significance level of individual drivers and barriers to DISL implementation is particularly important from the point of view of the need for digitalisation and reducing the carbon footprint by modern supply chains.
ORIGINALITY/VALUE: This paper primarily analyses the results of surveys completed by managers of micro, SMEs and large companies in terms of drivers and barriers for the DISL implementation as a key aspect of the development of current supply chains.

الوصف: This report is written upon request of École Centrale Nantes as part of the Internship/Thesis Project lecture. The document, together with and internship defence of 45 minutes, will provide material for the jury to evaluate the grades of the work developed and the student’s performance within the company. In the main body of the report, it can be found a general overview of the company as well as the description of its internal structure and organisation. Furthermore, the goals and objectives as a student during this period are identified and the tasks assigned for the role Supply Chain – Sustainability Intern detailed. For the different tasks there is an explanation of what they consisted of and the results that have been obtained. Finally, general and personal conclusions about the program are shared to express my thoughts and learnings. In the end of the report some support documents can be found as Annexes. Among other responsibilities, a problem statement is considered as the task that has had the most weight. This consists of a study of the energy consumption of Nike's European Logistics Campus, with the aim of identifying where energy use is coming from at different levels and identifying the highest energy consumptions. At the same time, to start a new way of reporting gas and electricity usage and as future steps, to define actions with different departments such as engineering or change processes to improve our performance. This project has not been carried out previously, so no previous or similar guidelines from the company have been followed.
