مستخلص: Research regarding athletics stakeholders' (e.g., faculty, non-athlete peers) perceptions of Division I college athletes is abundant and demonstrates that most stakeholders hold negative and stereotypical views of athletes. However, despite their time spent with athletes, little is known about the perceptions academic tutors have toward the athletes they are brought in to assist. Thus, through the lens of stereotype threat, this study explored graduate(d) and undergraduate tutors' (n = 67) perceptions of athletes from three academically and athletically elite Division I institutions. Tutors' perceptions were examined and compared based on their responses to an adapted situational attitude scale survey using correlations, t-tests, and Fisher's Z tests. In general, results suggested tutors did not maintain stereotypical perceptions of the athletes they worked with, a key difference from previous scholarship in this area. Still, graduate(d) tutors generally held athletes to higher academic standards compared to undergraduate tutors. Implications for sport practitioners in academic support programs for athletes include hiring more graduate(d) tutors to work with athletes and fostering stronger relationships between tutors and athletes. Ultimately, this study expands upon the previous research on perceptions and stereotypes of athletes and the findings may demonstrate a shift toward more positive and strengths-based perceptions of Division I athletes. مستخلص: This paper illustrates the detailed accreditation process of ABET, Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, for accrediting engineering and Technology programs. ABET being non-governmental agency that accredits engineering & technology, applied & natural sciences, and computing sciences programs. ABET was founded on 10th May 1932 and was founded by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. International industries accept ABET accredited institute having highest standards in their academic programs. In this accreditation there are eight criterion in general, criterion 1 describes the student outcome evaluations, criteria 2 measures the program educational objectives, criteria 3 is the student outcome calculated from the marks obtained by students, criteria 4 establishes continuous improvement, criteria 5 focus on curriculum of the institute, criteria 6 is about faculties of this institute, criteria 7 measures the facilities provided by the institute and finally, criteria 8 focus on institutional support towards staff of the institute. In this paper we focused on the calculative part of each criterion with equations and suitable examples, the files and documentations required for each criterion and the total workflow of the process. The references and the values used to illustrate the calculations are all taken from the samples provided at ABET official website. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

مستخلص: In order to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, the government created a program called accreditation which aims to improve the quality of education based on the National Education Standards (SNP) which pays attention to 8 educational standards. In addition, accreditation aims to motivate schools/madrasah to continue to gradually improve the quality of education at the district/city, provincial, national, and even regional and international levels as well as to help identify schools/madrasah in the context of providing assistance. A school/madrasah that meets the eight characteristics according to the SNP is accredited A, for those who lack/have not met the accreditation other than A. Executive Director of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This study specifically compares three supervised machine learning methods, namely k-nearest neighbor (kNN), logistic regression and classification tree. The results of the accuracy of the three methods show that there is no significant difference in the accuracy, the accuracy produced is almost the same for the three methods, 79-80%. Based on the measurement scale on the independent variable data, namely numeric and categorical, it will be inconvenient to classify using the kNN method because we have to standardize the data first. Meanwhile, logistic regression and classification tree, the difference in measurement scale in the data is not a problem. However, the author prefers to use a classification tree because by using a classification tree we can see the classification process and also know what variables are used as factors that distinguish the response variables. مستخلص: One of the objectives of the Teaching Campus Program is to improve the quality of learning in schools. However, there is no research that specifically explains and analyzes the impact of the presence of the MBKM Teaching Campus on improving the quality of primary school education. This study aims to determine and describe the impact of the MBKM Teaching Campus Program on the Quality of Primary School Education in Aceh Besar District. This research uses a mixed methods approach, with data collection techniques carried out by in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The population in this study were teaching campus practice teachers and elements of school principals, guest teachers, and class teachers from 10 elementary schools that were the research locations. The results prove that the MBKM teaching campus program has an impact on the education standards, namely content standards and process standards, including abilities in classroom management, preparation of learning tools, and use of methods and models in teaching. Then, the impact on evaluation standards, where the ability of teachers and IT integration in learning evaluation is getting better after the presence of students who practice teaching campus in the school, and graduate standards, including the ability of students in the aspect of mastery of basic literacy as the goal of national education. In addition to these impacts, the MBKM Teaching Campus program on Quality has changed the status of the school from accreditation C before. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

مستخلص: This study assesses the knowledge, practices, and attitudes toward criminal justice education among criminology students at Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) and its impact on their academic satisfaction and professional conduct. Key research questions include evaluating students' knowledge, practices, attitudes, professional conduct, and academic satisfaction, and examining the effect of gender on these aspects. A non-experimental, descriptive-predictive research design was used, with stratified random sampling to select 30 criminology students (25 males, 5 females) for the academic year 2022-2023. Data collection involved a researcher-developed questionnaire validated through reliability testing. Results showed high agreement among students regarding their criminal justice education quality. The mean scores for knowledge (4.85), practices (4.73), and attitudes (4.56) indicated a strong consensus on the program's effectiveness. Professional conduct and academic satisfaction also received high mean scores of 4.82 and 5.00, respectively. Gender analysis revealed no significant differences, supporting the hypothesis that quality education positively impacts students' knowledge, practices, and attitudes toward criminal justice education. The study concludes that WMSU's criminology students strongly agree on the effectiveness of their education in terms of knowledge, practices, attitudes, professional conduct, and academic satisfaction. Recommendations include further research, continuous adherence to professional conduct, and addressing gender-based stereotypes within the program. Faculty and administrators are encouraged to monitor and support criminology students' academic and professional development to sustain high educational standards. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

مستخلص: Although curriculum standards define educational requirements that students are expected to learn and teachers are expected to teach, little is known about the curricular philosophies of the Chinese Special School Curriculum Standards for students with intellectual disabilities. This study uses content analysis to examine how different curricular philosophies are reflected in the 2016 Special School Curriculum Standards and their alignment with the 2011 Compulsory General Education Curriculum Standards. Results show that most curriculum learning items reflect general curriculum access philosophies, but only 13.59% of them are required for typically developing students at the same grade levels. There is a significant difference across curricular philosophies regarding the alignment of the special and general curriculum standards. Implications for future research and practice are discussed. مستخلص: The term "geographical synthetic thinking" is taken from the latest Chinese version of the "Geography Curriculum Standards" (General High School 2017 edition, Compulsory Education 2022 edition) and is one of the four core competencies prioritized in the teaching of geography at the secondary-school level. This study proposes that using geographic subject mind maps improves students' geographical synthetic thinking and develops a set of geographic subject mind map (GSMM) drawing standards for teachers and matching standards and suggestions for teaching applications. Seven geography teachers and their students from eight class sections in seven provinces and cities in China were recruited to participate in the study. The teachers taught students how to use geographic subject mind maps designed to develop students' geographical synthetic thinking in the geography classroom. After 4–5 experimental lessons, the geographical synthetic thinking level of the 267 valid student participants showed a significant improvement, with a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The teachers' level of application of geographic subject mind maps in teaching was significantly and positively correlated with the students' improvements in geographical synthetic thinking, demonstrating that the standardized use of geographic subject mind maps in accordance with teaching application standards can effectively improve students' geographical synthetic thinking levels. مستخلص: Peer review in Business History has benefitted from the insights of over 550 expert reviewers over the past three years. In this editorial, we contextualise the journal's peer review process historically and in the available literature. We discuss some of the challenges of the double-blind review system, including securing reviewer engagement amidst time constraints and publication pressure, the dark sides of anonymisation, and the role of bias, values, and interdisciplinarity in research evaluations. Based on these reflections, we furnish some concrete guidance for reviewers on how to approach business historical research. We end by contemplating the future landscape of peer review and opening a conversation about review standards and reviewer education in the field of business history. Is peer review ripe for revision and resubmit? [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
