مستخلص: To inherit and promote the excellent design characteristics of Chinese-style furniture, this study focuses on Chinese-style stools and proposes an integrated design and evaluation approach with combination of shape grammar, KANO model, and entropy-weighted VIekriterijumsko KOmpromisno Rangiranje (VIKOR) methods. Firstly, based on the initial forms of five Chinese-style stools, a shape feature library is constructed by extracting shape features using regional cultural symbols. Secondly, combining shape grammar and inference rules, innovative design alternatives are generated for Chinese-style stools, incorporating regional cultural symbol features. Thirdly, an in-depth investigation of Chinese-style furniture market is conducted, and user requirements are analyzed using KANO model questionnaire, categorizing the requirements into three attributes: appearance, technological, and economic. Based on KANO model's classification of user requirements, a set of 14 evaluation criteria for Chinese-style stools is established. Finally, to avoid subjective factors in weighting the criteria, the entropy-weighted method is applied, and VIKOR method is utilized to obtain the optimal ranking of the design alternatives for Chinese-style stools, ultimately selecting the optimal alternative. The results show that based on VIKOR method, the optimal solution is the same with comparison to the results obtained from Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), preference ranking organization methods for enrichment evaluations (PROMETHEE) and elimination and et choice translating reality (ELECTRE) methods. In addition, to verify its ergonomic characteristics, feasibility and rationality, the optimal alternative is simulated by JACK software. By integrating shape grammar, KANO model, and the entropy-weighted VIKOR method, this study provides some insights for incorporating regional cultural symbols into the design of Chinese-style furniture and exhibits certain advantages in terms of comprehensive evaluation, user orientation, decision objectivity, and consideration of diversity. الوصف: Photographs of exemplary apartments widely published in Soviet advice literature of the 1960s influenced the Soviet generation’s ideas about what the appropriate modern dwelling should look like. Although the publications do not provide the date or location of the photos, this article demonstrates that almost all of them were shot at four furniture exhibitions in Moscow: at the furniture display in the architectural models of flats at the Permanent Building Exhibition (1958); at the “Art in the Everyday” exhibition (1961); and at the exhibitions of two union-wide contests for the best furniture (1958 and 1961). The photos depict not real dwellings, but rather ephemeral mock-ups filled with furniture that, in most cases, was never put into production.

Abstract (English): B.C. After 750, Phrygians who came to Anatolia from Europe spread towards the inner regions of Anatolia and ruled in Gordion, the capital of Ankara, Polatlı. The Phrygians, which are the transition zone between eastern and western civilizations, have created a unique culture even though they were influenced by both cultures. The Phrygians, who developed in mining and woodworking, were particularly advanced in processing and shaping wood, and in their works that have come to our day, they show how much they have developed in wooden furniture workmanship. Phrygians are a community with a unique Anatolian culture. He contributed to Anatolian civilization in many ways. One of the most original art branches of the Phrygians is furniture, because of its geographical location, living in the forest area has led the Phrygians to go further in furniture by mastering the processing and shaping of wood. Various types of wooden furniture have been found in the Tumulus tombs in Gordion, and we can understand what the Phrygian furniture looks like. Phrygian furniture is exhibited in Gordion and Ankara Anatolian Civilizations Museum. If it is necessary to define Phrygian wood works in general, it should be noted that they contain a wide repertoire as a genre; Service tables, tables, screens, plates, toys, stools, chairs, bed pieces and fans constitute important parts of the Phrygian woodwork repertoire. One of the main aims of the study is to examine the works of the Phrygians, one of the many civilizations that lived in Anatolia, to claim the cultural heritage and transfer it to the next generations. Abstract (Turkish): M.Ö. 750'den sonra Anadolu'ya Avrupa'dan gelen Frigler Anadolu'nun iç bölgelerine doğru yayılmışlar ve başkenti Ankara Polatlı'da ki Gordionda hüküm sürmüşlerdir. Doğu ve batı uygarlıkları arasında geçiş bölgesi olan Frigler her iki kültürden etkilenseler de özgün bir kültür ortaya çıkarmışlardır. Maden ve ağaç işçiliğinde gelişen Frigler özellikle ahşabı işlemek, ona şekil vermek konusunda da oldukça gelişmişler ve günümüze gelen eserlerinde ahşap mobilya işçiliğinde ne kadar geliştiklerini göstermektedir. Frigler özgün bir Anadolu kültürüne sahip bir topluluktur. Anadolu uygarlığına birçok yönden katkıları olmuştur. Friglerin en özgün sanat dalından biri mobilyacılıktır, coğrafi konumundan dolayı ormanlık alanda yaşamaları Friglerin ahşabı işleme ve şekil verme konusunda ustalaşarak mobilyacılıkta ileri gitmelerine neden olmuştur. Gordion'daki Tümülüs mezarlarında değişik türdeki ahşap mobilyalar ele geçirilmiştir ve biz bu sayede Frig mobilyalarının nasıl olduğunu anlayabiliyoruz. Frig mobilyaları Gordion ve Ankara Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesinde teşhir edilmektedir. Frig ahşap eserlerini genel olarak tanımlamak gerekirse tür olarak geniş bir repertuar içerdiklerini belirtmek gerekmektedir; servis masaları, masalar, paravanlar, tabaklar, oyuncaklar, tabureler, sandalyeler, yatak parçaları ve yelpazeler Frig ahşap eser repertuarının önemli parçalarını oluşturmaktadır. Anadolu topraklarında yaşamış olan birçok medeniyetlerden biri olan Friglerle ilgili eserlerin incelenerek kültürel mirasın sahiplenilmesi ve sonraki kuşaklara aktarılması çalışmanın ana amaçlarından biridir.
