مستخلص: The article presents excerpts from the outline of the course of physical science, presented to teachers in June 1941, that is recommended to be offered for some pupils of grades eleven and twelve of the senior high school in the U.S. The reasons for studying science and the methods of science are included in the introduction of understanding science. Experiments and problem solving activities such as the transfer of energy from fuels to mechanical devices are given. A part of the physical science classroom equipment is a motion picture projector. An illustrative area of study is provided.
