الوصف: This article explores individual resistance related to a military organization’s gender equality work as expressed in online contexts. Resistance is explained as expressions of wider social conflicts, grounded in experiences of threats towards military masculinities, challenged by societal and political transformation processes perceived as feminine. The data consists of defence-related blogs and comments. A thematic analysis finds that individual resistance can be understood as blaming and shaming strategies. Five subthemes are identified: blaming the “feminised” organization, blaming and shaming women’s abilities to serve, individualisation of structural problems, verbal violence and violations, and objectification of men working with and supporting gender equality initiatives. The analysis exemplifies how social conflict is transferred to organizations through individual resistance. As gender equality policies are questioned, organizations need to confront resistance also within the online context.

الوصف: IntroductionThe study explores the influence of Status Quo Bias theory constructs and the mediating role of inertia on individuals' resistance in making sustainable green home investment decisions among Indian homeowners and prospective homebuyers.MethodsA structured questionnaire was administered to 404 participants, and data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structured Equation Modeling (PLS SEM).ResultsThe findings indicate that factors such as loss aversion, transition costs, adherence to social norms, and self-efficacy to change significantly contribute to individuals' resistance to green home investments. Inertia further amplifies the relationship between transition costs, social norms, and self-efficacy to change, but does not mediate the impact of loss aversion.DiscussionThis study is valuable for enhancing our understanding of biases in decision-making processes. To combat this resistance, it is crucial to provide clear information about the benefits of green home upgrades and offer incentives that reduce perceived costs and risks. This research sheds new light on the influence of status quo bias and inertia specifically within the context of green home investment decisions, addressing contemporary concerns for environmental sustainability and the increasing importance of such decisions in today's world.

الوصف: This study aims to determine the factors affecting individual resistance. Literature review shows that job insecurity, emotional distress, and identity division are potential variables that will affect individual resistance. As a result of the factor and reliability analysis, the emotional distress scale consisted of 3 sub-factors: excitement, anxiety, and enthusiasm. Individual resistance, job insecurity, and identity fragmentation scales emerged as the only factors. As a result of simple and multiple regression analyses, it is seen that all independent variables significantly affect individual resistance. Job Insecurity has a significant and positive effect on individual resistance. It is seen that anxiety has a significant and negative effect on individual resistance, and enthusiasm has a significant and positive effect. The identity division has a significant and positive effect on individual resistance. Anxiety and enthusiasm variables, which are the sub-dimensions of emotional distress, are the variables that most affect individual resistance. In order to encounter less resistance and problems in the change process, employees need to be trained and prepared for a change in advance. Organizational change can only be achieved with the participation and support of employees. The study concludes with recommendations for managers at the strategy, operations, and human resources management levels.

Teaching its basics (from 1959) in higher education institutions formed such a theoretical attitude to religion, which practically excluded from the socio-cultural and scientific space any full-fledged knowledge about religion, religious institutions, religious figures and thinkers. But if atheism in the USSR was planted using the full power of ideological services and the entire system of higher education of the country, then resistance to it was an individual matter. And it remained so throughout the entire Soviet period. Realizing the negative attitude of society towards the anti-religious and anti-church campaigns, Soviet leaders stopped to destruct churches. Shortly after the fall of N. Khrushchev, the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments (VOOPiK) was created, which began to be legal opposition to anti-church policy. Since the late 60s , religious samizdat has begun to develop. Our article is devoted to two special cases from the history of destruction in the scientific space of the information blockade on religious and ecclesiastical matters. This blockade breakthrough was carried out by employees of two major Soviet ideological institutes: the editorial office of the Philosophical Encyclopedia and the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the USSR Academy of Sciences (INION of the USSR Academy of Sciences). Preparation of The Philosophical Encyclopedia started during the years of the anti-religious and anti-church campaign. It seemed that the situation itself excluded any resistance to the ideological policy of the CPSU. But it was in this edition that the young philosophers, led by Renata Galtseva, with their articles on Russian religious philosophy, dealt a tangible blow to the monopoly of scientific atheism. The second blow was inflicted by INION employees with their abstract collections. They managed to show what role religion and churches have played and continue to play in people's lives, in socialist countries including. The author was a contemporary, and in some cases a participant in the events described in the article.

الوصف: Introduction. The pandemic situation, the rapid transition to distance learning forms - all this was a serious test for participants in the educational environment. Panic, fear for health and life, as well as fear of social threat, when the previous structures of interaction with the outside world began to be violated accompanied people. This situation can be described as difficult, extreme, taking beyond the normal human experience that affected the whole world, humanity. It can also be defined as a situation related to social entropy (uncertainty), since it is characterized by novelty, contradiction and complexity. We are currently experiencing uncertainty in all spheres of life. External life circumstances, new challenges in terms of self-isolation, distance - destroyed the usual picture of the human world. A person is also forced to overcome "personal" uncertainty, while experiencing a dissonant state in the cognitive, emotional, motivational - value spheres. The uncertainty of the situation is also related to unpredictability, to the inability to predict development, as well as to uncontrollability, that is, the ability to manage the development of events. It should be noted that in the educational environment there is the same uncertainty, difficulties and fears that are currently experienced not only by the adult population, i.e. parents of students and teachers, but also by students. In our view, overcoming the difficult and uncertain situation of pandemic and conscious adoption of distance learning forms will be related to the peculiarity of the development of personal qualities of the younger generation, among which resistance will be most relevant to the possibilities of positive overcoming.Materials and Methods. The article should be an analytical review, where an attempt was made to systematize scientific psychological and pedagogical knowledge on the problem of difficulties and restrictions in various structural components of the educational environment and find resources to overcome the uncertain, difficult situation associated with the consequences of the pandemic and the introduction of distance learning. The main method of studying this problem is the theoretical analysis of information in the works of domestic and foreign authors, which presents theoretical and empirical studies on the introduction, opportunities and risks of distance learning forms, as well as attitudes to it.Results. Problems related to introduction of remote forms of education in structural components of educational environment are considered and analyzed; there are presented models of distance learning, allowing to ensure appropriate quality of trainees training. The results of a survey of students of various faculties of Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky regarding difficulties and attitude to distance learning format during the period of self-isolation are given.Discussion and Conclusions. The conclusion is based on the need for further theoretical analysis and synthesis of available scientific research on the implementation, opportunities and risks of remote forms of training. Based on the results of a few psychological studies of domestic and foreign authors, it is proved necessary to further study the problem of the influence of remote forms of education on the personality of students, as well as the finding of factors, resources, mechanisms that contribute to the informed adoption and choice of adequate forms and strategies of behavior by participants in the educational process. The importance of finding the personal and environmental resources of a person when emerging from difficult, uncertain situations related to the digitalization of training is justified.

الوصف: This lecture is dedicated to hypoxia (a lack of oxygen of various degrees) – a frequent emerging state of normal livelihoods, which initiates behavioral, physiological and biochemical adaptation mechanisms that can completely or partially restore the active functioning of the organism or cause the development of pathology. Each cell (or organism) has a limit of individual resistance to hypoxia. This limit may vary with the environment, previous training, or age of the patient. It can and must be evaluated to predict the future state of the organism. Hypoxic states exceeding the resistance limit due to external respiration, pulmonary edema, weakening of the pumping function of the heart, blood loss, blockade of the oxygen function of red blood cells, poisoning, blockade of mitochondria or other consequences of pathogenic hypoxia require qualifi ed medical assistance. Reactions to hypoxia of moderate intensity, which arise when performing physical work, staying in the mountains at altitudes of up to 4 thousand m above sea level (orotherapy), or when breathing gas mixtures containing O2 within 10-14% (instrumental orotherapy) increase non-specifi c resistance of the organism. The controlled gas atmosphere is able to improve the effi ciency of the mechanisms of oxygen utilization, increase its effi ciency in adverse conditions of life. Such effects can be defi ned by the term «sanogenic» hypoxia, which positively affects the level of health. Sanogenic hypoxia should be used as a preventive measure for improving the level of health, or as a medical treatment for a variety of diseases associated with microcirculation disorders or oxidative processes in tissues.
