Alternate Title: The study aimed to identify the reality of how much student’s benefit from fine art subject reducing the negative effects of using social networking in Al Dakhliaya governorate. The study adopted the descriptive approach. A questionnaire was prepared and applied to 400 students, 162 teachers. Besides, about 7 supervisors were interviewed. The study concluded with a number of important results including a large estimation by the study members on the role of Fine art subject in dropping the harmful effects of using social networking. An addition, statistically significant differences between the average responses of students on the role of Fine art subject in reducing the negative effects of using social networking sites due to the gender variable in favor of males. Furthermore, there are significant differences between the responses of the sample members on the role of Fine art subject in reducing the negative effects of social networking sites between students and teachers in favor of teachers. The study reached a number of suggestions which researchers hope that will contribute to the activation of Fine art subject in reducing the undesirable effects of using social networking sites by students in the governorate.
