AlGhazi Ben Qais Al-Andalusi is one of the most important scholars who spoke at the Quranek drawing. He is one of the earlier scholars in this field, and has a significant impact on those who came after him. He was quoted by the imams of this art, Abu Amr Al-Dani and Abu Daoud Solaiman Ben Najah. AlGhazi Ben Qais wrote a book about the Quranek drawing and called it (Hijaa’ Al-Sonna), but this book is missing and has not reached us. It might get missed in an earlier time, because those whom quoted him are very few and the majority of them are from the advanced. As a result, this study aims to identify AlGhazi Ben Qais Al-Andalusi in general and to present his efforts in the Ottoman's Quranek drawing in specific. The study aims as well to follow what were quoted from AlGhazi Ben Qais from the Quranek holy drawing, to collect them, to find out different sayings on this honorable science. And it aims finally to compare what he was quoted with the work settled on the science of the drawing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

الغازي بن قيسٍ الأندلسيُّ واحدٌ من أهمِّ العلماء الذين تحدثوا في رسم المصحف الشريف، وهو من العلماء السابقين في هذا المجال، وله أثرٌ بارزٌ فيمن جاؤوا بعده؛ فقد نقل عنه أئمة هذا الفن؛ أبو عمرو الداني، وأبو داود سليمان بن نجاح. وقد ألف الغازي بن قيس كتاباً في رسم المصحف الشريف سماه (هجاء السنة)، غير أن هذا الكتاب مفقودٌ، ولم يصلنا، ولعله قد فُقِدَ في وقتٍ مبكِّرٍ؛ لأن الذين نقلوا عنه قليلون جداً، وجُلُّهم من المتقدمين. فجاء هذا البحثُ ليُعَرِّف بالغازي بن قيسٍ الأندلسيِّ بشكلٍ عامٍّ، وليعرف بجهوده في مجال الرسم العثمانيِّ بشكل خاصٍّ. ويهدفُ هذا البحثُ أيضاً إلى تتبع ما نُقِلَ عن الغازي بن قيسٍ من رسمِ كلماتِ القرآنِ الكريمِ وجمعها؛ للوقوف على أقواله في هذا العلمِ الشَّريفِ، مع مقارنةِ ما نُقل عنه بما استقرَّ عليه العملُ في علمِ الرسمِ.
