مستخلص: ABSTRACT A 3dB broadband power divider has been designed using multi-mode resonator (MMR) technique. It resonates in four different modes of frequencies. Out of these, three of them are responsible for broadening the operating band, which may be controlled precisely by the impedance ratio of the resonator. It shows an equal magnitude, in-phase power division at outputs from 3.1 to 10.7 GHz, which complies the FCC defined UWB. It has advantages like single layer design, via less, compact and operating band is tunable by the dimensions of the MMR. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
