مستخلص: The boundary conditions performance (BCP) is shown to be an appropriate error criterion to estimate accuracy of method of moments (MoM) solutions on arbitrary structures, including open surfaces. A proper BCP error metric for electric field integral equations (EFIE) formulation is defined and applied for estimating accuracy on square plate benchmark geometry for triangle doublet basis functions. Comparison of BCP error with current and charge density distribution errors on the benchmark geometry is carried out based on the known benchmark solutions for the surface currents. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
