| مستخلص: | The article presents information on art, literature and politics. Those who in the U.S. follow the course of English polities must have been surprised to observe the great warmth with which the question of altering the procedure of the House of Commons, by introducing a rule similar to "previous question," is discussed. M. Muntz, the learned librarian of National School of Fine Arts, has given us a most interesting work on "Les Précurseurs de la Renaissance." The work of Muntz is not the history of the origin of the Italian Renaissance; under the name of "precursors" he chiefly takes the men who in Italy, and Tuscany, were the promoters of the new ideas, whether they were artists, archeologists, or even amateurs, from Frederic the Second and Nicholas of Pisa to Loreuzo the Magnificent. |
