The research presents a edited copy of the first manuscript written on the subject of Islamic economic theory. It is “book of earning” by Imam Mohammad bin Al-Hasan. The book has been divided into five chapters, which dealt with the knowledge of earning, knowledge of food, knowledge of clothing, knowledge of feeding and knowledge of speech. The book concluded with a chapter in which he spoke of the rule of expanding the needs above the minimum after the performance of the obligatory ones. In the chapter of earning Imam Muhammad spoke about the ruling of earning, its types, and its ranks. He closed the chapter with four benefits of the spreading of Salam, and greeting a sneezer.
