| Abstract (English): |
This study examined the assessment of noise levels in educational institutions, the female campus of King Saud University in Riyadh was adopted as a case study. The objectives of this study were measuring noise levels at the female campus, then comparing noise levels with international standards, produce noise map for female campus. This study depended on using measuring noise device “Sound Level Meter” for outer Points and using “Noise capture” app. on the smart phones to measure the internal points, and analysis these measurements using Geographic information techniques; then produce the maps that showed the distribution and the contrast of noise pollution inside and outside the female campus. The main results for this study showed that: the female campus registers high levels of noise between 35.2- 80 dB (A) which exceeded the MOMRA “Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs” standards. The highest levels were in Education College humanities sections and Computer College from Science sections. The central library registers high levels of noise which reach up to 61.6 dB (A). The noise in outer points were between 67 – 80 dB (A .(This study recommends the need to develop technical solutions and awareness to reduce the noise levels in the female campus and to conduct further studies to measure its impact on the educational achievement and health of female campus students and staff. تناولت هذه الدراسة تقييم مستويات الضوضاء داخل المؤسسات التعليمية حيث كانت المدينة الجامعية للطالبات في جامعة الم لك سعودبالعاصمة الرياض حالة دراسية، وقد تمثلت أهداف هذه الدراسة في قياس مستويات الضوضاء في المدينة الجامعية للطالبات، ومن ثم مقارنة هذه المعدلات بالمستويات المسموح بها عالميا ومن ثم انتاج خريطة الضوضاء للمدينة الجامعية. اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على قياس مستوياتالضوضاء باستخدام جهاز قياس الضوضاء الخارجية Sound level meter، وكذلك تطبيق Noise Captureلقياس النقاط الداخلية، وتحليل هذه القياسات باستخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية ومن ثم انتاج الخرائط التي توضح توزيع وتباين الضوضاء داخل وخارج المدينة الجامعية للطالبات. وقد كانت أهم نتائج هذه الدراسة: أن المدينة الجامعية للطالبات تسجل مستويات مرتفعة من الضوضاء تتراوح ما بين 35.2-80ديسيبل بحيث تجاوزت معايير وزارة الشؤون البلدية والقروية لضبط الضوضاء، بحيث تمثلت أعلى المعدلات في كلية التربية من الأقسام الإنسانية وكلية الحاسب من الأقسام العلمية.كما سجلت المكتبة المركزية مستوى عالي من الضوضاء يبلغ 61.6ديسيبل.أما بالنسبة للضوضاء الخارجية فقد تراوحت ما بين 67-80ديسيبل.وتوصي هذه الدراسة بضرورة وضع الحلول الفنية والتوعية لتقليل مستويات الضوضاء في المدينة الجامعية وعمل المزيد من الدراسات لقياس تأثيره على .التحصيل العلمي وصحة طالبات ومنسوبات المدينة الجامعية [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
