| Abstract (English): | This study aimed to determine the training needs of agricultural extension agents in Al Balqa governorate /Jordan. The data were collected by using of rapid research method through focus Group was consisted of thirteen agricultural extension agents and agricultural engineers participating in extension tasks in the agricultural directorates and centres in the governorate that included (Kasbah of Salt, Ain Al-Basha, Al Fuhais and Mahes, and agricultural centres in Al Subaihi and Allan). The respondents were asked about their training needs and determine its priorities by giving the training need' a degree that ranged from (1-5) degrees according to of criteria for which relative weights were specified by participants group. The findings indicated that the training needs included (17) seventeen subjects, where rural leadership in agricultural extension, geographic information systems, and organic agriculture came in the first rank, communication skills, and integrated management of fruit trees in the second rank, livestock diseases third rank, then farms management of animal production in the fourth rank, irrigation and fertilization in the fifth rank, plant propagation and tissue culture in the sixth rank, plant protection in the seventh rank, varieties fruit trees and vegetables in the eight rank, hydroponics in the ninth rank, ornamental plants in the tenth rank, the field schools in the eleventh rank, agricultural marketing and post-harvest techniques in the twelfth rank, agricultural projects management in the thirteenth rank, and food processing in the fourteenth rank, where the weighted degrees of these Needs (85,85, 85, 80, 80, 72.5, 66.67, 65.83, 43.33,42.5, 30.83, 27.5, 20, 15, 13.33, 11.67, 5.83) respectively. Finally, the result of this study recommended that the Ministry of agriculture must take the extra role for Planning training programs for workers through prepare scientific and practical plan include the training needs of extension agents in this study area. | Abstract (Arabic): | الهدف الرئيس لهذا البحث هو تحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية للمرشدين الزراعيين في محافظة البلقاء، استخدم طريقة البحث السريع كمجموعة التركيز لجمع البيانات من العاملين الإرشاديين والمهندسين الزراعيين المشاركين في مهام إرشادية في المديريات والمراكز الزراعية في هذه المحافظة وشملت (قصبة السلط ، عين الباشا ، الفحيص ، ماحص ، والمراكز الزراعية في الصبيحي وعلان) ، بلغ عدد المشاركين في مجموعة التركيز خمسة عشر مرشداً زراعيا ، وتم سؤال المشاركين عن احتياجاتهم التدريبية وتحديد أولوياتها عن 5) درجات وفقًا لعدد من المعايير التي تم تحديد الأوزان النسبية لها بواسطة - طريق إعطاء كل احتياج تدريبي درجة تتراوح بين ( 1 مجموعة المشاركين. وشملت الاحتياجات التدريبية ( 17 ) سبعة عشر موضوعًا، حيث جاءت القيادة الريفية في الارشاد الزراعي، وأنظمة المعلومات الجغرافية، والزراعة العضوية في المرتبة الأولى، ثم مهارات الاتصال، والإدارة المتكاملة للأشجار المثمرة في المرتبة الثانية، ثم امراض الثروة الحيوانية في المرتبة الثالثة، ثم إدارة مزارع الإنتاج الحيواني في المرتبة الرابعة، ثم الري والتسميد في المرتبة الخامسة، ثم اكثار النباتات وزراعة الانسجة في المرتبة السادسة، ثم الوقاية النباتية في المرتبة السابعة، أصناف أشجار الفاكهة والخضراوات في المرتبة الثامنة، الزراعة المائية في المرتبة التاسعة، ثم نباتات الزينة في المرتبة العاشرة، ثم المدارس الحقلية في المرتبة الحادية عشر، ثم التسويق الزراعي وتقنيات ما بعد الحصاد في المرتبة الثانية عشر، ثم إدارة المشاريع الزراعية في المرتبة ،85 ، الثالثة عشر، والتصنيع الغذائي في المرتبة الرابعة عشر، حيث بلغت الدرجات المرجحة لهذه الاحتياجات ( 85،85 5.83 ) على التوالي، وأخيرًا ،11.67 ،13.33 ،15 ،20 ،27.5 ،30.83 ،42.5،43.33 ،65.83 ،66.67 ،72.5 ،80 ،80 أوصت نتائج هذه الدراسة بأن الإرشاد الزراعي يجب أن يأخذ دورًا في تصميم برامج تدريبية للمرشدين الزراعيين في محافظة البلقاء من خلال إعداد خطة علمية وعملية تتضمن تفاصيل نتائج هذه الدراسة.
