| Abstract (English): | Corporate volunteering refers to corporate employees volunteering in the community on behalf of their workplace, as part of a corporate social responsibility strategy. These voluntary activities usually take place in nonprofit organizations (NPOs) that provide services to vulnerable populations, such as people with disabilities and health problems, and children and youth at risk. Similar to emerging global trends, corporate volunteering is a rapidly growing phenomenon in Israel, and yet it has received little scholarly attention. The aim of the present study is to examine the meaning of corporate volunteering from the perspectives of the main stakeholders involved: corporate executives and volunteers; NPO leaders, employees and service users. The research draws on three qualitative case studies. The first is a community garden (2015-2016), which involved real-estate company employees volunteering in a mental health rehabilitation NPO. The second case study is a transportation service (2006-2018), in which insurance company employees volunteered in a medical aid NPO, transporting people with chronic illness to hospital treatments. The third case study is a farm (2014-present), in which employees from an irrigation technology company volunteered to provide at-risk youths with an opportunity to work in agriculture. | Abstract (Arabic): | تطوع الموظفون هو نشاط تطوعي يتطوع فيه موظفو منظمات المصالح التجارية نيابة عن مكان عملهم في المنظمات االجتماعية في المجتمع، كجزء من مفهوم مسؤولية الشركات للمصالح التجارية. على غرار االتجاهات العالمية، أصبحت هذه الظاهرة منتشرة في سوق العمل اإلسرائيلي، لكنها لم تحظ باهتمام بحثي كبير في إسرائيل. كان الغرض من الدراسة المقدمة في المقال هو إجراء دراسة متعمقة ألهمية ظاهرة تطوع الموظفين ألطراف المنظمات الرئيسيين المشاركين فيها: المدراء والموظفين في الشركات التجارية، المدراء، الموظفين والعمالء في المنظمات االجتماعية. وصفت الدراسة وحللت 3 حاالت بحثية نوعية: تطوع موظفي شركة عقارات في جمعية الصحة النفسية، تطوع موظفي شركة تأمين في جمعية للمساعدة الطبية، وتطوع موظفي شركة لتكنولوجيا الري في جمعية للشباب المعرضين للخطر. تم جمع نتائج الدراسة من خالل مقابالت متعمقة شبه مبنية )28=n )مع مدراء ومتطوعون وعمالء في المنظمات االجتماعية؛ وكذلك من خالل المشاهدات في المنظمات وتحليل المواد التنظيمية المكتوبة. تظهر نتائج الدراسة أن المدراء في المنظمات التجارية يسلطون الضوء على التطوع كنشاط يقدم مساهمة كبيرة في المجتمع. ومع ذلك، كان التطوع يتم في الغالب بشكل متقطع، وتميز بتغير مستمر للموظفين المتطوعين. باإلضافة إلى ذلك، كانت هناك صعوبة كبيرة في المنظمات التجارية في تعيين موظفين للتطوع، وهي صعوبة أدت في بعض الحاالت إلى إلزام المنظمات موظفيها بـ "التطوع" في النشاط. في ضوء هذه القيود، فشل تطوع الموظفين في إنتاج لقاء متعمق بين موظفي المنظمة التجارية وعمالء المنظمة االجتماعية، وكان هناك درجة طفيفة من التفاعل بين األطراف.
