| Abstract (English): |
The geographical space of Coastal African countries has turned into a haven for various terrorist organizations, organized crime, illegal immigration, drug and arms trade, and ethnic conflicts. This region has become one of the most complex and focal points that weighed heavily on security in the Maghreb countries. This study addresses the security threats that the African coast suffers from, which negatively affect the stability of the region. The factors behind the growth of organized crime and terrorism are ever increasing. In contrast, lack of development, and the absence of a clear vision contribute to the intensification of threats to the security of the Maghreb countries. The study examines the Maghreb approaches to ward off security threats emanating from the Coastal countries, which are mostly dominated by military intervention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

ل الفضاء الجغرافي لـدول الساحل الأفـريـقـي(1 (إلـى حديقة خلفية لمختلف التنظيمات تـحـو الإرهابية والجريمة المنظمة والهجرة غير النظامية وتجارة المخدرات والأسلحة والصراعات الإثنية، فأصبحت المنطقة إحدى البؤر البالغة التعقيد والأهمية، التي أرخت بثقلها على الأمن المغاربي. ارتبط الوضع الأمني لهذا الفضاء الجغرافي (المنطقة المغاربية) بطبيعة التهديدات القادمة من العمق الأفريقي، ممثلة بالدول ِّ المكونة للساحل الأفريقي، إذ ظلت هذه الدول مصدر المشاكل التي تلقي بظلالها على التوازن الأمني للمنطقة المغاربية، الأمر الذي يمكن أن ُنطلق عليه بحسب جوزيف ناي وروبرت كوهن «الاعتماد المتبادل المركب»(2) (Interdépendance Complexe ،(وهو ما يسلط الضوء على النظرة المغاربية المتوافقة على مكافحة هذه التهديدات، ويعزز هذا الاعتماد المكانة الاستراتيجية التي تحتلها دول الاتحاد المغاربي، إذ تحدها معابر دولية (مضيق جبل طارق) التي تطل على القطب الأوروبي، وهذا الأخير يتأثر بكل التهديدات الوافدة من الجنوب.
