مستخلص: The development of renewable fuel utilization in various fields, which includes biogas, encourages various researches on biogas. One of the aspects studied is the effort to increase the volume of biogas produced from the fermentation process. The research has been carried out by conditioning the in-digester temperature at three different temperatures. The temperature condition of the digester in this research is a thermophilic condition and mesophilic condition as a control. The three types of in-digester temperature variations are 45, 55, and 65°C. The results obtained will then be compared with the results obtained from a digester that operates at room temperature or is called mesophilic. The results showed that the high in-digester temperature, 65°C, produced a larger volume of biogas compared that the biogas produced in the digester at low temperatures or even in mesophilic conditions. However, in terms of biogas quality, thermophilic low temperature of 45°C, produces a higher quality of biogas. This is characterized by a higher methane concentration. This condition encourages further research to reach high volume and high quality of biogas from the fermentation process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
