مستخلص: Textile dyeing and finishing wastewater is a major source of water pollution, resulting in intense color, pH fluctuations, a high demand for chemical oxygen, and other suspended particles.to achieve legal requirements, this colored effluent must be treated before ultimate release. azo dye dispersion accounts for over 70% of all commercial disperse dyes used in the textile industry. The methods of decolorization of dispersed dyes are discussed in this review. Biological, chemical, and physical treatments, as well as their many combinations, are the most common ways for eliminating colors from industrial effluent. A variety of physical or physical and chemical procedures have been explored to remove the colors of wastewater containing dispersed colors, and Adsorption has been found to be a successful method. for reducing dissolved organic matter in effluents. Physical methods usually require additional chemicals that produce secondary pollution and quantitative Huge sludge.of by-products, and the release of toxic amines, all of which make physical and chemical treatments economically inappropriate.
