Abstract (English): Teacher training represents a central dimension for the quality of the educational system, capable of impacting both the educational process and the student’s success. Starting from the reform regarding the initial training course for the secondary school teachers, the paper addresses the legislation from a pedagogical perspective, proposing some reflections aimed at structuring circular pathways, which combine theory with practice, through the internship, to reflect and be able to re-read what has been learned, increasing the effective-ness of the training period. Abstract (Italian): La formazione del docente rappresenta una dimensione centrale per la qualità del sistema di istruzione, in grado di incidere sia sul processo educativo che sul successo formativo degli studenti. Alla luce della riforma disciplinante il percorso di formazione iniziale degli insegnanti della scuola secondaria, il contributo affronta in chiave pedagogica il testo normativo, proponendo alcune riflessioni orientate alla strutturazione di percorsi circolari, in grado di coniugare la teoria con la pratica, attraverso le attività di tirocinio, per riflettere sull’operato e riuscire a rileggere quanto appreso, aumentando di efficacia il momento formativo.
