| Abstract (English): |
This study aimed to identify the determinants of student satisfaction with Ajman University services using the discriminant analysis method to compare the two groups of students who were satisfied and those who were dissatisfied with university services with respect to the variables of discrimination. The study was conducted on a random sample of 249 male and female students at the Department of Sociology and Social Work (Ajman, Fujairah) using an electronic questionnaire. The results showed: (1) There is a substantial discrepancy between the two groups concerning the majority of the independent variables, except for the variable of satisfaction with university housing. The most important discriminatory variables affecting general satisfaction about Ajman University services were academic advising services, information technology services, sports services, security and transportation services, academic services, and catering services). (2) The discrimination variables explained 21% of the discrimination between the two groups, with a value of λ = 0.790. (3) The percentage of correct classifications of those who were satisfied and dissatisfied with university services was approximately 86%. (4) The Tau value showed that the respondents who were characterized by high levels of satisfaction with student affairs and registration services, general services, academic advising services, information technology services, academic services, and catering services were likely to be satisfied with university services by about 72%. هدفت هذه الدراسة إىل التعرف عىل محددات رضا الطلبة عن خدمات جامعة عجمان، باستخدام أسلوب التحليل التمييزي للمقارنة بني مجموعتي الطلبة الراضني وغري الراضني عن الخدمات الجامعية بالنسبة ملتغريات التمييز. وقد أجريت الدراسة عىل عينة عشوائية قوامها 249 طالب وطالبة بقسم االجتماع والخدمة االجتماعية يف مقري )عجمان، الفجرية(، باالستعانة باستمارة استبيان إلكرتوني. وتبني: -1 وجود تباين جوهري بني مجموعتي الدراسة بالنسبة لغالبية املتغريات املستقلة عدا متغري الرضا عن السكن الجامعي للمنتفعني منه، وكانت أهم متغريات التمييز املستقلة إسهاما يف تفسري متغري الرضا الطالبي العام عن خدمات جامعة عجمان وهي الرضا عن: )خدمات شؤون الطالب والتسجيل، خدمات املكتبة، الخدمات العامة، خدمات اإلرشاد األكاديمي، خدمات تكنولوجيا املعلومات، الخدمات الرياضية، خدمات األمن والنقل، الخدمات األكاديمية، خدمات التغذية( عىل الرتتيب-2. فرست متغريات التمييز %21 من التمييز بني املجموعتني، حيث بلغت قيمة λ = .0.790 -3 بلغت نسبة التصنيف الصحيح للراضني، وغري الراضني عن الخدمات الجامعية قرابة .%86 -4 بينت قيمة Tau أن املبحوثني الذين يتسمون بارتفاع درجات رضاهم عن: خدمات شؤون الطالب والتسجيل، والخدمات العامة، وخدمات اإلرشاد األكاديمي، وخدمات تكنولوجيا املعلومات، والخدمات األكاديمية، وخدمات التغذية يحتمل أن يكونوا راضني عن خدمات الجامعة بنسبة قرابة .72% وقد اقرتحت الدراسة بعض التوصيات.
