مستخلص: AgI films were prepared by thermal evaporation technique at film thickness (300) nm deposited at room temperature. Quantum tunnelling is the dominant mechanism for ac measurements. AC conductivity σa.c and then frequency exponent are independent temperature but frequency dependent at frequency range (100 Hz – 100 kHz) in the temperatures range (298- 513) K. There is agree between real and imaginary dielectric constant at maximum peak of imaginary dielectric constant at (ωmaxτ=1) at ln(ω) equal to (11.04) (i.e wavelength=10 kHz). From the results of Cole - Cole diagram, fine semicircle is appeared and minimum relaxation time is equal to (1.30*10-5 sec) at annealing temperature 423 K which reflects the behaviour of dielectric dispersion for electronic devices like memory effects.
