مستخلص: This article discusses the management of an 18-month-old baby boy with a cystic mass in his mouth and inspiratory stridor. The anesthetic team collaborated with pediatricians, ENT specialists, and radiodiagnosticians to develop a comprehensive management plan. The team performed fiberoptic intubation with preservation of spontaneous respiration and administered medications to prepare the child for surgery. The cyst was successfully excised under general anesthesia, and the child was monitored for airway edema before being discharged. The article emphasizes the importance of experienced pediatric caregivers, backup techniques, and careful planning in managing pediatric difficult airways. [Extracted from the article]
