مستخلص: The purpose of this research is to assess the influence of adding copper with varying mesh sizes on spot welding through the use of tensile strength, microphotographs, and hardness measurements. We'll use type 1100 aluminum material with a variety of mesh sizes in this experiment, including 40, 50, and 60. Tensile strength testing (by ASME QW-462.9), microphotography with a metallographic microscope, and the Vickers test were also done (AWS D8 standard.9-97). Tensile test values were determined at meshes 40 (556.38), 50 (739.13), and 60 (1316.10), with the fusion zone (nugget) area exhibiting the highest hardness value. The heat-affected zone area comes next, followed by the base metal area, with a mesh size of 60.50 and 40 in order of hardness. The micro-image test produces identical results because they both use the same substance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
