The new Regulation on European business statistics (EBS) has been in force since 1 January 2021. It poses a major challenge for services producer price statistics, as price indices must now be provided to the Statistical Office of the European Union for considerably more economic sectors. These new producer price indices enable the calculation of the new index of services production, which reflects the development of output in the entire services sector. The article explains the extended data delivery obligation as well as the design and structure of new services producer price indices (SPPI). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Seit dem 1. Januar 2021 gilt die neue europäische EBS-Verordnung. Sie stellt für die Erzeugerpreisstatistik für Dienstleistungen eine große Herausforderung dar, denn es sind nun für deutlich mehr Wirtschaftszweige Preisindizes an das Statistische Amt der Europäischen Union zu liefern. Diese neuen Erzeugerpreisindizes ermöglichen die Berechnung des neuen Dienstleistungsproduktionsindex, der die Entwicklung der Produktionsleistung des gesamten Dienstleistungsbereichs abbildet. Der Beitrag erläutert die erweiterte Lieferverpflichtung ebenso wie die Konzeption und den Aufbau neuer Erzeugerpreisindizes für Dienstleistungen. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
