Jeffrey Gibson, a Native American artist from the United States, is the first Indigenous artist to have a solo exhibition at the prestigious international art exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia. His exhibition, titled "the space in which to place me," features over 20 works of sculpture, multimedia paintings, paintings on paper, and video.
