مستخلص: The exchange of nutrients between the sediment-water interface has a significant impact on the eutrophication status of water. Sediment is an important component of material and energy cycling in aquatic ecosystems and is considered a significant source or sink of endogenous load in water environments. In order to develop effective measures for managing nitrogen and phosphorus, it is necessary to understand the patterns of nitrogen and phosphorus release from sediment under different environmental conditions. This project simulates the static release of nutrients from the original columnar sediments in the Dan'ao River Basin, which evaluate the contribution of endogenous release of nitrogen and phosphorus. Overall, the contribution rate of endogenous release near all the sampling points is relatively low. The sediment endogenous release of ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus in the Dan'ao River are both accounting for less than5%. These findings indicate that the levels of ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus released in the Dan'ao river basin are not posing a threat to its nutrient levels. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
