مستخلص: Due to its exceptional abilities and limitless potential uses, graphene has become the focus of extensive research in the twenty-first century, notably in the domains of material physics and material chemistry. The current study uses a modified Hummer's method for producing graphene oxide (GO), which is then given a laser treatment to create laser-modified GO. Then, using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), GO and laser-modified GO were both investigated. GO and laser-modified GO both have a variety of functional groups attached to them, according to the study using XRD and FTIR. The synthesis was carried out in a straightforward, non-toxic, and environmentally secure manner. The dielectric constant values were subsequently determined using the LCR meter data. These results may serve as a guide for future research on the properties and dielctric behavior of graphene oxide and laser-modified graphene oxide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
