The article discusses a correction to a previous construction of the Salvetti complex of a real hyperplane arrangement. It is noted that the chosen linear extension in the previous construction cannot be arbitrary, and the results remain valid with the use of an appropriate total ordering of the chambers. The article also presents counterexamples to a claim made in the previous construction and discusses open questions regarding nonrealizable oriented matroids and Euclidean orderings.
