| Abstract (English): |
The study aims to impact the trainee experience by using traditional Saudi costumes in theatre. A new course was designed for a for a program entitled: "Saudi Traditional Costume Design in the Theatre and the Performing Arts." The participants included 25 female trainees specializing in fashion design in 2023 from the region of Ha'il. The method used was a case study, and data was collected via a questionnaire in both the observation and focus groups. The most important results found, were that: heritage is the source of a fashion designer's creativity, the significance of the relationship of the costume designer with the theatrical work team, and that the stages of traditional costume design (fashion design studio) are essential in organizing production, in theatre. Recommendations are given for practical ways other faculty members might build their art projects from ideas rooted in heritage, the consideration of adding a “Theatrical Costume Design” course in Saudi universities, and finally the possibility of involving other majors in theatrical productions. تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة تجربة المتدربات في تصميم الأزياء التقليدية في فنون الأداء الاستعراضية والمسرح السعودي من خلال أهمية هذه الأزياء، لتصميم أزياء الشخصيات كأحد ملحقات المسرح، وإعداد الكوادر البشرية في الحياة وسوق العمل، حيث صَمَّمت الدراسة برنامجا تدريبيا جديدًا بعنوان "الأزياء التقليدية في فن الأداء والمسرح" لتنمية مهارات إطار القرن الحادي والعشرين وكانت عينة المشاركات في هذه الدراسة عينة قصدية عددها (25) متدربة متخصصة في تصميم الأزياء في منطقة حائل عام (2023). ومنهج البحث: دراسة حالة نوعية، وجمعت البيانات من خلال تحليل الوثائق لتصميم البرنامج التدريبي، والاستبانة وبطاقة الملاحظة والمقابلة باستخدام مجموعات التركيز المصفرة. وأسفرت أهم النتائج عن أن التراث مخزون مادي، وأداة عمل تنافسية للهوية السعودية، ومصدر إبداع المصممين ومعرفة علاقة مصمم الأزياء بفريق العمل المسرحي ومراحل تصميم الأزياء التقليدية (استديو الأزياء) في تنظيم الإنتاج في المسرح. وأوصت الدراسة بإضافة مقرر "تصميم الأزياء المسرحية" في الجامعات السعودية, ومشاركة المتخصصين في العلوم الأخرى في بناء العرض المسرحي.
