مستخلص: In recent decades, Renewable energy has been playing vital role due to its non-polluting nature, and environmental friendly. Especially, Wind Energy System has been providing gigantic power production in and around the world. In this proposed work, Matrix converter is used in between the synchronous generator and power grid. With no additional components, this converter aids in controlling the output voltage for varied wind speed. Additionally, in order to run the turbine at its full potential, this converter controls the generator's terminal voltage and frequency. The simulation results have verified the proposed system.
