مستخلص: This article, titled "OC18.04: Are voiding difficulties associated with tape location 10–20 years after tension free vaginal tape surgery?", examines the potential differences in incontinence symptoms, anterior compartment descent, and tension free vaginal tape (TVT) location between women with and without voiding difficulties after TVT surgery. The study involved 263 women who underwent TVT surgery between 2001 and 2012. The results showed that women with voiding difficulties had higher stress and urgency incontinence scores compared to those without difficulties. However, there were no significant differences in TVT location or descent of the bladder and bladder neck between the two groups. Additionally, women with post-void residual urine >200ml had higher urgency incontinence scores. Overall, the study suggests that TVT location and descent of the anterior compartment are not associated with voiding difficulties or high post-void residuals 10-20 years after surgery.
