مستخلص: The article offers information about the new communication program of Gail Borden Public Library called "E.T. Phone Home" in Elgin, Illinois. It is a program wherein kids living in city can talk to the International Space Station (ISS). Students in the library can directly talk to the ISS for approximately ten minutes, to speak to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronaut Clayton Anderson. They did not communicate by phone but by ham radio connection. The library was granted a rare Amateur Radio on the International Space Stations (ARISS) contact. The program was designed in 1983 for schools.
