مستخلص: The article reports on the study regarding the use of preoperative chemoradiation as a standard treatment in discovering reliable factors for disease-free survival. It is said that stratifying patients by stage of tumor regression forecast outcome with a concordance index of 0.65 with the use of preoperative stage element. As a result, it is concluded that tumor response to preoperative therapy is showing a strong prediction of disease-free survival.
