مستخلص: The article focuses on the information literacy (IL) of students at universities and colleges in Tanzania. It discusses a study conducted on the topic which used a questionnaire sent to librarians, teachers, and undergraduate students. The study also used interviews of school administrators. The results suggested that IL programs need to be improved in schools in Tanzania. The challenges facing IL are discussed and include the lack of an IL policy, inadequate training of library staff, and the lack of collaboration between teachers and library staff.
