مستخلص: The article reports on the study published by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) on the effectiveness of arrangements to safeguard adults from abuse in Great Britain. The study realised that disabled and older people who have been abused received a varied quality of support due to councils' and care services' uneven progress in developing effective safeguarding arrangements. CSCI has then requested councils to make safeguarding into services through service contracts.
