| مستخلص: | The article presents information on a report about the abnormality in the herpetological pattern of the Oreaocryptophis porphyraceus coxi or Thai bamboo ratsnake. Two subspecies groups were differentiated by their distinctly different pattern. The O. porphyraceus group has dark stripes restricted to the posterior part of the body while the nigrofasciatus group has stripes covering the entire body. A specimen with aberrant pattern is also described having a less contrasted uniform colouration and striped pattern. |
