مستخلص: Harmonic currents introduced in the utility power supplies induce a poor factor several and distorted current waveform. Thus standards and recommendations increase the attention in power factor correction. For low power applications, this paper presents a sliding mode control proposed for power factor correction. It’s applied with success to a Boost converter operating in continuous conduction mode and its efficiency tested through simulations and its robustness was proven.
