The article discusses various proposals for amendment to the codes concerned with nomenclature of fungi under the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants. Topics discussed include conditions for epitypification, nomenclatural stability for organisms treated as fungi excluding lichen forming fungi and those fungi associated with them taxonomically such as Mycocaliciaceae, and Ending precedence of names typified by a sexual morph over names typified by asexual morphs. |
