مستخلص: The article discusses research on the effect of long-term non-caloric artificial sweeteners (NAS) consumption in humans which found positive correlation between NAS consumption and several metabolic syndrome-related parameters like increased weight and waist-to-hip ratio and higher fasting blood glucose. The study suggests that consumption of NAS may be a dietary factor contributing to dysbiosis and recommendation to remove NAS from patients' diet.
